Using right now jacksonm80's uClinux for psp. but having issues with.
trying to make BUILDROOT from the above linux.. to get gcc and the chain to install so i could build apps from linux off psp. I'd like to run a few linux apps.. or unless someone knows of a full linux for psp. I don't need gui.. just gcc so i can compile.

so I'm basically stuck on step 3..
3) Applying patch files:..
now a linux site said.. patch -p1 < patchfile.diff well I tried the patch command and its not in uclinux.. am I suppost to do this in a cygwin or ubuntu or something? Doesnt make sense.

Judging from the instructions, they are for a cross compile toolchain that works specifically with uClinux's libraries. So wherever you are building the toolchain is where you need to carry out the instructions.

Since the instructions make little sense, consider that you may be out of your depth in this? Try contacting the author and see if he/she is willing to compile Perl for uClinux for you.
