We've just released the latest version of our arcade style helicopter game, Apollonia.

This one is mostly a maintenance release, with a lot of backend improvements. Most of our math code has been completely rewritten and optimised for PSP by using the VFPU. We've completely rewritten the particle engine, so future versions will have super cool effects. As always, let us know what you think. Any comments are appreciated, we're doing this for you guys.

Changelist:

Added some new buildings.
Improved performance on PSP.
Improved particle engine.
Fixed renderer to support OpenGL versions less that 2.0.
Fixed crash in control screen.
Fixed error in paths to resources in Linux.

Hey guys, another good release. It may be "just a maintenance release" but I think it's always good to have those kinds of releases too. Especially if the maintenance done allows for better code in the future.

And yes, this one's been frontpaged too.

not yet, im too busy amusing myself with several "unmentionable" threads on here.. but i plan to, ive played the v0.02 version, but had to format my ms after my son messed with my PSP, and havent bothered re-downloading any of them yet..

Young kids are great for messing up saves to aren't they?

yeah he put my 3.71 Phat MS into his 5.00 Slim PSP and corrupted all my saves, at least i think thats how it happened.. the little sh-.. erm.. darling

ive just gotta find where i saved them it so i can put em all back on my PSP..

wow im taking this off-topic.. umm.. yeah this game is choice.. im gonna download this and some other stuff.. hang on, i already did from the codetactics link you posted.. anyway, i hope this one is better, though from the info i read its just a performance improvement, which is great of course..
