This is based on the frontend for emulators for the pc called 3D Arcade where you move around a 3d environment of arcade cabinets or consoles.

You move around like the in game Mist,it loads up a different screenshot every time you move left,forward and right..

go up to the cab and if you press the left trigger button it will boot Mame4All..

Nice concept, would be great if it were using 3d models and 3d movement though

Yeah this would be an awesome program if it were the real thing.
It's the way both the Gottlieb and Williams PSP Pinball simulators work.

The title is deceptive if it isn't really a 3D program.

Edited the tittle now.

The room you see in it I made that in 3dsmax so its in 3D Arcade.

It would be hard to do the real thing,Its made with director.

I don't think it's as hard as you think.
I haven't done anything with textures in a 3D environment,
but it would only take a little looking in to.
Starting MAME roms from the individual cabinets int he world would be very cool.

Hmm that is pretty nice, but as said above(3d programming would be cool) :P. Anyways suite yourself .

spanner, it's not that hard one you understand the concept of 3D programming, and setting up the GU, after that, loading in models is your only other issue(and a room with some arcade machines shouldn't eat up too much fps), i'd suggest looking into it imo

you should try lte engine. i hear its easy but for slow people like me its hard =)
