There's really nothing here but the skeleton of a turn based battle system.
I'm not posting any screenshots as it's just all final fantasy 1 nes sprites. There is no AI and you have no weapon. I made this yesterday and it is my first attempt at a language.
With that being said I am looking for people to help me on this project like graphics artist, dialog writer, etc. If you want to help me then PM me.

you dont sound very committed. Do you have plotline and everything else sorted in your mind of what you want to do?
Wait until near the end of the project before you start asking for graphics guys otherwise you will be wasting their time having them make gfx for a project that will never be finished or released, which is a waste of their time and work.
if you want to write an rpg, check this thread out.
How to Create an RPG
there are several rpg being written here, maybe you could join one of the existing rpg teams.-- Code Monkey : Sarien, Fishguts, Cracks and Crevices --

No I'm not very committed, and no I don't have any idea what this will be. I'm mainly doing this to try something new. I have no real intention of this being a good game. But thanks for the suggestion, I will consider it.

All I do is hardware based design so I'm trying software based design to get experience in logical systems. The more people I work with the more experience I get. But I don't want to join a team because like I previously stated I'm not really committed. Though I suppose if someone asked me to join a team I would.

Just try making a simple program to get the basic experience.

Well none. However what is an RPG? It is simply a complex system of simple systems. So if you work on each system at a time it becomes easy. The same could be said of all systems.

he's right. The first thing i ever programmed was a turn based RPG battle system. The concept of an RPG can be very basic. Most of it is putting the time in to write the code. Although this can be a long and monotonous process which is why not many have survived.
