PSPGen have posted that a new Japanese game, called Evangelion: Jo scans your RAM and detects if you have any type of custom firmware or not. If it detects you have custom firmware. The game will freeze displaying the screen above with some lovely classical musicplayed in the background. It also doesn’t seem that you could bypass this check, since its scanning the RAM….

So Sony have taken things a step further with Anti Custom Firmware games.

It would be possible but probably not feasible to bypass the method, you could make a plugin that tries to hook the detect functions and returns an "artificial" ram (we could dump one off a psp with OFW). You could unzip the UMD (iso) and try and find the bit which detects it. Im sure there are more other (harder) ways of trying to do it aswell.

On a side note: Wouldn't Torch's Anti-CFW plugin work?
