Hi all,

Yesterday night, working on Age of Nations was pretty boring, so i started writing another game code to change my mind.The fact is after an hour and half, the result was so pretty interesting, so i thought it was nice to share, and classify it as a work in progress to end.

Homebrew: HackLink - Rule The World

Based On: Uplink Hacker Elite (Chris Delay's PC Game)

GamePlay: Really simple. You're an Hacker.You enjoy breaking the law on the Net.Your dream is to become a free-lance agent working for HackLink, a worldwide corporation and become a Leader in computer crimes.

haha, this is funny cause i have been working on Downlink aswell (clone of uplink). I have done pretty much everything i can do to clone it, except them tracing you back.

I know, but i've decided to not release it, and let sean release this. It probably will be better as it is programmed in lua. But im going to release it with a whole lot of different features

Not so much things.Just display the large map and look at viewable servers and mirrors.

thats still good, i find it annoying when im deving that you have to guess where you want your menus and text etc and that is what actually takes most of the time, finding the right place to put things XD.

Right, but my own trick is to guess mentally the screen proportions, and use images width and height dimensions to place as marks, to find the right place.

Yea, programming in C is a lot harder than Lua.

Im still trying to find Downlink, im certain that copied it onto my portable hdd b4 i formatted, if i can't find it ill post the one i have on my psp (With like no gameplay)

Think you exaggerate.Many guyz over are really capable of greater things.They just don't have enought time, or thier not interested in.
I just enjoy working on new ideas, and innovative ones.

The IP 100.1.2.356 is impossible so I guess this is a fake

lol yeah im sure that can be a bug fix seen as ips ony go up to 255.255.255.255 max but that is usually a subnet mask

actually normal ips only go as high as 223.255.255.254, and that's with a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0, can't rember if 223 is end of class C, or start of class D

Hi all,
I've made some fixes and updates.Have a look on screenshots below.

Ability to save an Options File for the Game, when you run it for the First time or if you haven't saved it yet.

Here is the main menu.You can create a new user from there, delete an already existing user profile,access to the options menu, or exit the game

The steps of the registration process

Gateway login procedure

Displays the player's current gateway

Displays softwares stored in the player gateway's memory

Displays player's profile

Viewing the Large Map

Now i'll be working on Bounce Connection, and Trace Tracking methods.
