Hi there, i hope anyone still remember this .

For those who haven´t heard of the app, GameMusicGear is a multi format music player for the PSP inspired on Oldplay for the gp32 and winamp. Please send any comment or suggestion to the mail found in the readme.

Here is the changelog:

Version 1.3

+ add	New in_sap plugin based on ASAP engine by Piotr Fusik.
+ add	Scrolling text in playlist for large file names/titles.
+ add	Some gfx changes and new icon, specially in the config app.
+ add	Texture compression using libtxc_dxtn library by Roland Scheidegger and
		Franck Charlet to save some space: dxt1, dxt3 and dxt5 modes available.
+ add	New volume boost algorithm with +3, +6 and +9 dB amplification. You can 
		change it pressing CROSS + ANALOG UP/DOWN. ** USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK **
+ add	Improved the in_psf plugin, several types of reverb and interpolation
		were added and should sound more like the real psx.  If you find some 
		heavy track you can try changing this settings.
+ add   Improved visual plugins!.

* fix		Increased heap size of in_gme.prx because some vgm files were not working, thanks
		to Marcus Vinícius for pointing that one.
* fix		Increased the size of the song info and picture in fullscreen visualizer.
* fix		Replaced a lot of global variables in the main app to improve performance 
		and stability of the app.
* fix		Load from zip, rar, etc. is now working with psf, minipsf and vgz plugins.  Except for some
		large rar files.
* fix		Real sleep mode is now working :).

- del		Removed fade support since i changed the sound boost algorithm.

It does not work on my PSP Slim... When i start the program, it seems to be loading properly, the psp logo disapears then there is a lot of memory stick activity and it goes back to the xmb with no error message.

I am using CFWEnabler 3.60 on firmware 5.03.

This is the best app I could ever want. Playing SPC, GYM and PSF on the car was an old dream, lol. I even hacked an AUX port by soldering some wires on the motherboard of my old car radio system just for GameMusicGear!

I can play PSF files, but can't play miniPSF files, like the FF7 ones. The app hangs, then shut the PSP shuts off. Tried the files inside RARs, ZIPs, 7z...
I'm using a PSP 3000 on firmware 5.03 with ChickHen R2 and CFW Enabler 3.60. Any help? Thanks for the awesome player!

EDIT: Also, it crashes if I try to use the "rockmax" skin, but instead of shutting off the PSP, it just goes to XMB. Looks awesome.

Hey thanks everyone for your comments, yep most minipsf are not working, will take a look at it, must be a heap memory problem again. Will check the skin too.

By the way i'm planning on adding a 'Save playlist' feature to the browser, don´t know if anyone would be interested.

And if you find another soundtrack from any format that is not working please let me know.

I think that would be very useful! What do you think of winamp's ability to get the music ID3 tags "on load" instead of just when playing the music for the first time? Would be easier to find a music from the playlist.

Do you mean when you open a folder?, it is on my new TODO list, i was thinking on using a database for that.

Maybe for the next release .

Actually, I meant when I enqueue a folder/zip/file. Do you mean on opening a folder in the square button browser? That'd be even better, lol.

EDIT: OK, I got to fix the skin! There was some error's with filenames and the "audio_lv1" is supposed to be "boost_3db" in the res file (same for 6db and 9db).

how to play midi files

i reall would like to have the save playlist option. is there a posibility of adding a CDart display of an mp3 file with an embeded CDart in its tag in the fullscreen visualizer? another one would be a better fonts and settings menu icons,coz they seemed to stretched up too much,having lots of jagged edges. and btw,how to use the sleep feature? nonetheles,this app is the best so far..

lol.ignore the CDart thingy. bug report: the 3rd skin(i forgot its name,cant check it,im using my psp posting here) its item highlight/selector bar will jump out of the screen when theres to much item in the playlist.. i also would love to see more skins,clean and simple. antialias fonts,visualizer and 1:1 display of icons.
