Default How to port a PC visual novel game to psp..?

Lately I've seen people port some PC visual novel games for the PSP...I'm interrested to learn how they do it and port one myself...

Problem is I can't find a tutorial...or rather...I don't know where to start..

So I was wondering if you guys could point me to the right direction...

where have you seen people port visual novel games to the psp?

also, anything that's ported is required to have the source code in order to port something, so it's a possibility that those other visual novels were open source

They likely rip the graphics and text, and re-implement the events and story paths. The code is not that complex, but cloning it all is tedious.

Or, since the data formats used in most novels are relatively simple, it would also be possible to write one's own clone of their engine for the PSP.
