Default [Release] VSH Volume Remap

Hey there,

My friend Arnold just posted this on his site VSH Volume Remap
VSH Volume Remap By ArnoldBronson

What is does is remap the volume buttons onto the dpad up and down so that you cna change the volume of the PSP.

This is so that people who have non-functioning volme buttons can still change their volumes.

It's a VSH plugin with toggle, therefore you can change back and forth easily to change the volume.

Download: Buttonpatch.zip

Enjoy!

eh, someone should expand these remapping programs to be dynamic and allow remapping of any 1 button to any other 1 button, rather than releasing with only 1 button remapped at a time

@dan369:
Had the same problem with the START button...
iceman755 fixed it for me with a plugin! Now START is on the NOTE button
Maybe he can rewrite (or something) it ?!
You should ask him friendly...

Yes, ArnoldBronson says that he might make it dynamic

If you want a quick edit for the HOME button, he just might do it if you head over to his site and request it.

Is it possible to have a universal remote plugin made if this can be made.

I was modding my PSP and ended up breaking my Bottom buttons. If there was a plugin where it can set (and you can change manually yourself) the buttons yourself, than that would be great too.

Thanks for this though

ArnoldBronson says it is possible he will put a config file type into the plugin so you can remap every button all again.
However, he is only doing it depending on how many people want him to do it.

So...if it was me, I would go on his forums and sort of flood his PM box and make threads telling him to do it. He needs motivation.

But then, that's what I would do and he would be pushed.

I built this version of Hold+ for someone who had non-working volume buttons. Works in game mode too.

Download File

Hold Note + D-PAD Up/Down to change volume. (Tip: In the XMB, continue holding the Note button for a few seconds while pressing Up/Down, so it doesn't change the equalizer settings).
