Small lua notepad app. It presents my idea of new(I didn't seen one like it before) text input for PSP. More info in readme file. Hope you'll like it.
Download links(main and mirror) are in atached text file - sorry, I couldn't post it normally(my post count is too small). PS. 100kb upload quota on forum isn't just too small? |

I understand that this application is a proof of concept for the implementation of an efficent keyboard on PSP. And I must admit that it let you type faster (with less keystrokes) than any of the other methods I have tried (danzeff's osk, sony osk or extended osk, etc). It is very intuitive and relatively easy learn. Good job Ace!!
IMHO it could be even better if you implement the following ideas: - a cancel key after you press the first key (it could be the unused Down or Cross button - depending if the first key was a d-pad button or regular button) - once you press the first key, just clear and display the 3 letters on the side you pressed (regular buttons side or d-pad side), letting the user change its mind. For instance: I press Up -> A B C is displayed, but I don't press any button in the d-pad and instead I press the Square button, it would display all the letters in the d-pad (left) side and show P Q R in the right side. - a blinking cursor would help to know where the next character will be inserted Once again, you made a good job Ace! |
