    Default [release] Go!Tube 1.1

i know the version 1.0 wasn't released here , so i'll post the changelog from the begining :
    _________________________ _________________________ _____________________
Go!Tube was originally created to replace UltimatePSPtube beacause a lot of his site dosen't work
but why continue this work ? because i'm not the only dev of gotube's script (actualy yes but i hop it will change).
concretely that mean GoTube include a online updater (go to the radioplayer to use it), this online player load a list of dev and they script's folder and display them to you. after that you can choose what site you want include in GoTube.
So imagine i go to china , i'm killed ... no probleme ! all the other dev can continue to upload they script , and you can continue to download them by the updater even if i'm dead.

so if you want to take a look on my actual folder : go here you'll see my 2 folder (safe/nsfw).
i hope you'll create your own repository (folder) and help the comunity to offer them all se script they want ;)

    [Download]

    ChangeLog
all change are from PSPtube, not from Ultimate PSPtube

    * 1.0 added GoTube? Updater : scan all .js in the site/ folder, load a online page and compare the site.rev
    * added attribut : PSPtube.MultiView? [true|false] display the next search site in the top of screen
    * removed function site.search replaced by info.URL , used by eval(info.URL). Syntax is harder to understand but finaly more powerful.

    * 1.1 added HightMemoryMod work with the "ms0:/PSP/GAME/GoTube?/" confuguration, to desactiveate HMM : delete EBOOT.PBP , rename GT into EBOOT.PBP
    * added repository support to GoTube Updater
    * added function ext(from[,to])
    * modded some char path, now in relative

    some screen

as you can see there is a new feature in gotube , the next site are now previewed in top of the screen (i know you understand why i've made that ^^) if you want remove this feature and go back to the original mode , go to the cfg.js and replace 1 by 0 in the PSP.multiView attribut

i'll probably not read your reply so if you want to know how to make your own script , i've relased the API of GoTube (some parte are same as PSPtube). if you've never used javascript don't try to do this job. and if you find any bug : request a debugging here : Issues - gotube - Project Hosting on Google Code

    see you

just making sure, for the megavideo video 'bug'
that's a problem with the rendering flash/video engine itself right?
my understanding is that psptube is a closed project, and since this an extension of psptube, the problem cannot be fixed

and, can you make it compatible with game category plugin

    Default great app

this is a great app, although i was wondering if youve ever thought of making an app to stream anime? i know a great website, (kumby.com) that has tons of full series ready to stream for free. an app to watch those on my psp would be killer. keep up the good work!

matchung> check your kernel mode / disable your plugin / use the non-HightmemoriMod (see my 1first post)

lazyguy > PSPtube use ffmpeg to decode video , so mabe Sofiya”L use a too old version or he missconfigured it... btw i don't understand why he dosen't release the source (or at least update ffmpeg) i've mailed thy guy who saied he got the source of PSPtube but i don't have any reply :s
and i can't make working GoTube outside the GAME folder cuz the online download goes in this directorie :s and it can't be changed (or you must hexedit the downloadhelper.prx),and there isn't a find function in the PSP , so if you change the GoTube folder's name, the updater will be not able te refind the right directorie :s
so how expected , it's easier to use the UNcategorized ^^

I got "ERROR: ms0:/PSP/GAME5XX/GoTube/../site/ not found."
And yes, I know I'm suppose to put it in GAME for HMM to work, but I decided I'd rather not. So I deleted EBOOT.PBP, and renamed GT to EBOOT.PBP. I am sure that my SITE folder is in my GoTube, and I have ext.js and YouTube.js in it. I edited cfg.js, and set the favorite to "/PSP/GAME5XX/GoTube/VIDEOS/" because I put all my YouTube videos in there.

I am having the same problem dennis96411 is having, all I did was switch the GT file with the EBOOT file (I am using a PSP Phat, 5.00-6).

No, we don't return to the XMB, we just get the error message and a black screen. We have to manually press home and exit. And you are correct, those are the contents. I am running on 5.50 GEN-D4, PSP slim 2001.

But for those of us that don't have the slim PSP can't use it because when you do it'll go back to XMB, so we have to use the "GT" Eboot (Which isn't working).

The only temporary solution is to put GoTube folder in the GAME folder. Actually, I found out that HighMemMod directs itself to open "X:\PSP\GAME\GoTube\G T", not "X:\PSP\GAME5XX\GT", that is why you are having that problem 666priest. If you put GoTube in the GAME folder with everything in place, you'll be able to launch it in HighMemMod.

I never changed anything in the Gotube folder, I just dragged it into the GAME folder and it doesn't work, I even changed the GT file to G T but it still goes back to XMB, I give up.

ok i've found the problem , the hightmemorymod lauch GoTube (GT) but the path given tou GoTube is :
    PSP/GAME/GoTube/GT/
    insteate of
    PSP/GAME/GoTube/
so if PSPfat can't load HightMemory remove (EBOOT.PBP+GT) and use the EBOOT from GoTube 1.0
    DL

btw you must respect the organisation of the .zip (with VIDEO folder at root GAME etc...)

    LOL isn't that what I said? :P
You're right, the HighMemMod EBOOT directs itself to "X:\PSP\GAME\GoTube\G T", if you don't have GT at the exact place, it won't load into HighMemMod.
I got it to work, I just placed everything into GAME.

For anyone having problems getting the GT file to work (After you changed the name to EBOOT.PBP) here is a solution. Take the the SITE folder in the PSPGO folder and put it in the GAME folder, then take every file in the PSPGO folder except for the EBOOT file and put it in the GAME folder and it should work. It seems that the eboot is trying to find the files in areas that are not in the PSPGO folder, so it's a programming mishap (Hopefully there will be a fix coming real soon so we won't have to scatter everything). I take no credit for this as I read it off OrderZero from PSP-hacks.

Whenever I open it it says game cannot start or smth and it takes me back to the XMB
I didn't change anything I just put the GoTube folder in the GAME folder like in the zip file
    I have a PSP slim with 5.50 GEN-D2

EDIT: Ok i got it to work, changed GT to EBOOT.PBP then did what priest said
I tried it in a category and it worked but you have to place the contents of the GoTube folder in GAME/CAT_Applications instead of in GAME

with all this changing i'm suppose you'll have a probleme with the updater ^^
because the updater save the .js file int PSP/GoTube/site/ folder ... and it can't be changed :s
replace the 1.1 EBOOT by the 1.0 one is the best solution ...

Why don't you just put it in the GAME folder? Why go through all the trouble of scattering the files everywhere? Just put GoTube in GAME! That's it!

BTW dude, that screenshot u took of GoTube...

After about 5 hours of trial and error (I'm not at all exaggerating) I found out that using PSPFiler to transfer the files gets rid of the errors like ms0/PSP/GAME/GoTube/../. I only know that it works on slims, IDK about phats.

first off thanks for the homebrew it works good only took me an hour or so to figure out the reason mine wasnt working was i was in 1.50 instead of 5.00m33

what file type does gotube save videos as? (extension seems to be plain .file)

and why does the picture always get distorted while watchin every once in a while (diffrent colors and lines blocking the screen)online and offline.

last question anyone who knows how to make javascript or whatever to add new sites should check out xnxx.com one of the best sites i know of hehehe...

I think the lines are because of higher quality videos that Go!Tube can't process. If it's a lower quality video, everything is fine.

because the updater save the .js file int PSP/GoTube/site/ folder ... and it can't be changed :s
replace the 1.1 EBOOT by the 1.0 one is the best solution ...
