    ZOCK'n ROLL
    ========

    hi, here's my second Homebrew game coded in LUA ;)
    At first : sry for my bad english -.-"


    Description :
    ========
    you get 4 dices and have to store them on a 4x4 pitch...
    There you have to sort them by color and numbers. All combinations and and scores you'll find in "options"->"help".
    By reaching a new level you'll get a joker, which you can place everywhere to get the highest score for the given combination ;) (i know, it's bad explained - try it out and you'll understand, what i mean ;) ).

    After completing a game you can upload your score and try to reach a place in the Top 20 scores ;)
    (I want to make a bigger highscores-list - but it always don't work with more player scores, sry -.-" )


    Controls :

    In menu :
    =======
    • X : select
    • O : back
    • L : view Top 20 highscores
    • digipad : navigate
    • START : return to the game (if running)


    In Game :
    =======
    • X : store a dice
    • O : remove a dice
    • /\: store a joker
    • []: test and roll
    • L/R: switch dice to store
    • digipad : navigate
    • START : opens the main menu
    • SELECT: save the current game

    1. Theres a character limit to the OSK, hence why you can't add loads of highscores.
    But its looks like a cool original(for PSP i'm talking) game, great job :)

    nice job, its a really fun game :) i found one bug, while uploading my score it froze on me (only on level three so that doesnt really matter too much) and i had to quit the game

    i know this Bug, but i can't improve it, because the error must be in the function "socket.connect()" which is a LuaPlayer function :\

    But i'll try to improve it again...thx =)

    I"ve played the flash game and I thought that it is a very good concept for a PSP Game.
    If I had an IPod, I probably had not programmed it ^^

    Is there anyway to see the high score list without using the game itself? Is there a link that I can go to from my computer for example to see the high scores?

    Yes, you can view the highscores by pressing L in the main menu ;)

    sry, but there's (at the moment) no way to view them with your PC :\

    There is a bug when you have 4 different numbers and colors on the diagonal from bottom left to top right (when using a joker). It calculates it as 10 pts and does not eliminate the 4 dice.

    I'll release an update in few days - in this version (1.2) i had included a check for updates...
    so i can easy patch some Bugs =)

    And the patching doesn't take much time...only a few seconds (:

    the same bug happens in the bottom left corner same scenario. if i play a joker in the bottom left corner to make a box with all 4 colors and all 4 numbers, it doesn't give the points or erase the block of 4. (position marked with diagram below -- * = joker)

    as you can tell i really am addicted to this game (just check the high score list) :)

    one more bug...once again with the joker in the bottom left corner. I had all yellow 4s in the following...

    XXX4
    XX4X
    X4XX
    *XXX

    it made the joker into a blue 4 and failed to award the 400 pts for the 4 in a row and did not erase the diagonal. This is perhaps all the same bug just dealing with the diagonal in which case you probably already fixed it.

    Keep up the great work. Like I said, great game. I am totally addicted.

    as for the second bug i mentioned, it also involve that diagonal in which case it could be fixed already as well.
