[UPDATE] REPOPrep 1.0.6 for PSPInstaller V3

Hey there guys and girls.



Spike_132000 here to release a bugfix version of REPOPrep
Just so new people to PSPInstaller know, this is made for a webserver, it is not meant to run from the PSP itself, you upload it to your PHP and MYSQL enabled webhost on the internet... It is to be used WITH PSPInstaller V3.


Changes in this version

= Fixed 'Internal Server Error 500'
= Fixed Upload script not working on Firefox and some IE browsers

The major one was the upload script not working in firefox, so this should hopefully fix that!

There are 2 versions available. The FRESH version and the UPDATE version.

Anyone who already has a REPOPrep should download the UPDATE version, anyone who is looking to upload there own REPO should download the FRESH Version.

Install Update:

Simply just copy the contents of the zip folder to your REPOPrep and overwrite everything!

Install Fresh:

Simply copy the contents of the zip to where you want the repo to be hosted (possibly make a subdomain) and then goto where you installed it in a webbrowser and the install will start, you will need to set up a MYSQL Database and have your username and password to hand.

IIRC the latest version of the installer is 2.1 ? (I still have it on my psp ;) ), so when is version 3 out

It's out now and available from PSPInstaller - rsparrow.co.uk, the latest is actually 3.11

Please watch this video for a video tutorial on how to install and set up REPOPrep 1.0.6

Login | Facebook -Unfortunately, this video is over 10mins and youtube won't accept it, so have had to upload to FaceBook, you can view this video if you have an account, if anyone has problems viewing this video, PM me and I will move it!

1) Download REPOPrep 1.0.6 from PSPInstaller - rsparrow.co.uk
2) Open up your CPANEL on your webhost
3) Click Create SUBDOMAIN
4) Recommend you type 'repo' so you have repo.yourdomain.com
5) Open MYSQL Database Wizard
6) Enter a database name
7) Enter a username and password for the database
8) Make sure you have all privelidges on your database
9) Open your favourite FTP Program
10) Copy the contents of the REPOPrep 1.0.6 to the directory automatically created by the subdomain
11) Wait for that to finish
12) Goto : repo.yourdomain.com
13) Fill in the required information
14) Delete your install folder and proceed to login
15) click on Send Registration to master list
16) start uploading files or asking people to upload files as well!

Note: Make sure that your files are ZIP's and that they follow the filestructure for the PSP!

This app is defiantly underrated, it's a shame great potential.

Bit of a move around with things, more room, less cluttered. Would be better if PGELua 0.3 was released with the ZIP.CLOSE function working... thinking of adding simple progress bars and some sort of advertisement system?! but that last one is still a hmmmmmm...

we have about 11 repo's but 8 of them don't have any files and so I don't approve them...
