    Default [Update] PRXDecrypter 2.6a

    jas0nuk recently released the source for PRXDecrypter, his nice little PSP decryption program. I took it upon myself to merge in the decryption keys found by coyotebean. Now, jas0nuk's nifty little program can decrypt the PSP Go files for FW 5.70, 6.10, and 6.20 :) thanks to jas0nuk for this wonderful little app, and to coyotebeans for the new keys.

    comes complete with my modified source.

    nice freeplay with this mod. even due there 6.30 i think it a was of time to decrypt it because i don't think there will be any cfw 6.30 for a while. i mean they only ripp the folder thing for davee and bubbletune and block a exploit. if i want the folder thing i can just use the plugin gc v 12 and stay with my firmware but who knows. someone may really make a cfw 6.30(but don't put your hope up).

    Hum there's something I don't understand, I tried to decrypt a DATA.PSP file, I made "Analyse files" first and it told me that the file is encrypted and that the tag is known, so after I made "Decrypt" but it failed, it said something like this : ... failed (unknown), any idea ?

    I used the 2.6a version.

    Project Diva Dreamy Theater 6.20 file from JPN PSN still not able to be decrypted.

    Heres the log:
    * DATA.PSAR -> alternate output size, estimating output size, unsignchecked, failed (unk. tag 0x90F28464/0x88A7C4C6).

    I notice that 2.6a lists 2 tags now. Previous versions only listed 0x88A7C4C6.

    My DATA.PSP is an encrypted file which contains a PRX (my PSP is a 2000, and my cfw = 5.00 M33-6).

    Syxx, this does not decrypt PSN files. There's another program for that; I can't remember what it's called.
    Linblow, which one specifically is it? As far as I can tell, this will only do the DATA.PSP files from a few older demos and from update files.

    My DATA.PSP file is from SOCOM FTB 3 patch, I guess that's why it doesn't work.
    Anyway, what's the program to decrypt the PSN files if it realy exists.

    Google "NP.PBP" and you'll find it. You can only decrypt things that you've legitimately downloaded, since it needs an installed license.

    Unfortunately the NP Decrypter doesn't work on this either, it must be too outdated. I have the proper license, but the game requires 6.20 to run. I've been upgrading to OFW to run the game, and back to CFW with Pandora. Its a hassle and potentially dangerous, so I wish there was some way to decrypt this to run on CFW.

    If you've got a slim PSP, there's actually a way to install OFW 6.30 with a custom IPL that lets you run it with a Pandora in instead of having it shut down like normal. (I need to try it myself first before I can tell you exactly how...) You could set up Time Machine or XGen Pandora to boot to CFW from the memory stick, and to OFW from the NAND.

    I'm still using the old PSP-1001. I have xgen set up, but it boots into 5.00M33-4. I set it up awhile back and don't exactly remember how I went about doing it. Is it possible to run 5.50GEN-D3 from the MS?
