Looking for group to make homebrew/pc games.

Hi.
Im a guy who wants to make my way in to the developement of games.
Im have experience with 3d studio max and photoshop. Im a graphics guy.
But i have no experience in game programming. Ive tried c++, but i only managed to make command line apps. The games i want to make graphics for shouldt be to complicated. Remember im a noob in game developement. I didnt manage to use opengl and directx with c++ either.

I have no images/videos of my work at this moment, but if someone is interested i could make some samples for a game u have in developement. But i need some basic knowledge of what filetypes and so on my 3d models/sprites etc should be.

Im currently own a 2.0 euro psp. i have almost every game which is launched here in norway. So i cant test the homebrews. But im interested in pc game developement to.

I surely hope someone could give me a try, because this is my dream. i wanna be a game developer. im 22 years old and live in norway. ive been using 3d studio max once in a while since i was 15. But remember, not to advanced projects.

Right now we dont have room in the budget for another modeler (Insomniac Produkt) may have it some time after publisher clears us again.

but if you wouldn't mind sending me your portfolio I could consider allowing you on the team as a trial member. if things work out well your name will be on the credits and a nice paycheck after shipment.

Lets say it this way. I have no spesific portfolio.
Im trying to get in to the scene to learn basic knowledge of making graphics for games.
Im not interested in profit. Cash is not a problem. But i dont want to go 2-3 years in school to be a game developer. I have a job and a good education so this is my hobby.

I just want to see my work in "action".

If anyone have any links to sites where I can learn or get involved in this pls post them here.

Just an example: I could partisipate in making a simple game as possible. Even if its just a mouse pointer graphic in that game and black background. Get it?

I once made a game in Delphi 6. The name of the game was keyboard crusher.
1-4 player game which goal was to hit spesific buttons on the keyboard as fast as possible to get a image (no animations) from start to the finish line. I thought it was a killer game. I was only 17 and had made a game for my self. Even though it came out in only one version and the only graphics was the images of sprinters moving 2 pixels for each button press and the start and finish line. All done in Microsoft Paint
