Hey guys, here is my second neoflash comp 2010 entry.

Project Description

Snes9X Euphoria R4, is a Snes emulator for the PSP that plays most games at full speed. It supports most roms.

-- Changes in this version :

Rendering Rehash - Speed Up.
Function clean up - Small speed up.
Fixed Memory stick read error.
Various fixes.

Issues

If you click load new game and the game just sits on a black screen... Click the home button again then press "reset snes".

nice im looking for a new update SNES emulator for psp.

can i really run Donkey Kong 3 here with fullspeed and others superFX game like Top Gear,Mario Kart,Star Fox,Killer Instinct,F-Zero? and can i load my savestate from snesTYL here?... tnx

ive tested it on my PSP2000 5.03GEN/Prometheus ... always restart my psp..

The Emu crashes upon running it. I black screen, then the PSP powers off.
Whats up with it?
I'm on 5.50 GEN-D3. PSP1000, 4GB Lexar stick.

I figured out the crashing issue. The emulator crashes when you have too many roms in one folder. I organized the roms into about 6 different folders and now it works.

lolz.. the problem is i dont have any rom on my rom folder...

because all my rom is in the snesTYL..

I have no roms in my folder. I was going to run this without any roms in the Roms Folder. I have another SNES9x version and that is still installed. So I was going to browse to that rom folder of the other Emulator.

EDIT- I threw a few roms into the folder. Same results. Emu black screens and shutsdown psp before it even gets to start.

did you delete the .ini files? (you shouldn't for now)

I'm on 5.50 GEN-D3 and it crashed for me when I had in the GAME folder. I moved it to GAME5XX and it worked.

Seems to work much better then the previous version of SNES9x I was using. Though I do seem to get better FPS when starting the game normally, not from a save state.

Tried this. Same result.
Next thing I tried. Disabling all plugin's. Same result.

As for deleting the ini's? No I did not. I didn't touch a file. Uncompressed it, threw it in my psp.

Got it working. Thank you!

I must say its a major improvement. I can run Super Mario RPG, DKC2, DKC3, Contra 3 with out problems.
Although. DKC1 LAGGED baddly in a level, then crashed several seconds later. Didn't crash the Emulator, only the ROM froze. So I assume its the rom.
More little tidbits
Starfox ran at 33fps, with auto frameskip on.
Mariokart ran at 55fps and higher with auto frameskip on.
