    PSPInstaller 6

Description: An all in one downloader and installer for PSP Homebrew, Themes, Pictures and Utilities
    Author: Spike_132000

This application is an entry in the NPT Genesis Competition and was entered there first!

Well, it's finally here and up for download! If your not quite sure about what PSPInstaller actually is, it is an application that helps the end-user easily download and install homebrew, much like the Cydia store on the iPhone or similar stores for the Wii. The application was made with you in mind so steps have been taken to ensure that you can install files and play them as quickly and easily as possible.

    Latest version is 6.05
    - Use in app update for latest version if you use 6.00-6.04.
    - Download 6.05 as a full package with NEW EBOOT

6.05 Full Package (with new eboot)- PSPInstaller_6_05.rar

Install this application by putting it into your GAME or GAME5XX folder! Make sure you run the in-app update in the About section to ensure you have the latest features!

    - Progress Bars for Download
    - New Interface
    - New Sounds
    - Cleaner Code (More code recycling!)
    - Working Update System

Bugfixes and additions since Initial Release

    - Minor UI fixes for text positions
    - New PSPInstaller 6 Logo
    - Search implementation
    - Fatal bug fix (Thanks bsanehi)

    Screenshots: Index of /pspinstaller6/screenshots

Help PSPInstaller grow by submitting homebrew to our repo's.
Please Note When Uploading: Ensure that your package is in ZIP format and mimics the root of the memory stick. This will ensure that your upload gets approved more quickly instead of us having to fix the file for you.

    Upload your homebrew to:
Signed Eboots, PTF Files and Wallpapers - PSPInstaller - OFW Homebrew - Signed File Uploader
Unsigned Eboots, CXMB Files and Anything Else - PSPInstaller - CFW Hombrew - Unsigned File Uploader

I would appreciate your comments in this and would love feedback on how pspinstaller works.

There are a few things that you should note before using PSPInstaller:
    - PSPInstaller is not and unfortunately may never be compatible with any games catagories plugin. I advise you disable this plugin while using pspinstaller.
    - There may be bugs in here somewhere, I have tried my hardest to get them but if they are there, report them to me and I will work on them ASAP!

    Thanks

Cannot get this to work, and haven't been able to use PSPInstaller since v4 I think? It tries to run, but the PSP ends up shutting itself off with no error messages. I read that plugins can mess with it, but I run a pretty small set of those, and nothing exotic:

    CXMB
    vshmenu+
    prxshot
    PspPowerSaver
    m33_620
    popsloader

On 5.00 M33 with 620 plugin if it matters.

Please disable your plugins 1 by 1 so I can check compatability issues with the plugins, Thanks

    Gar, can't post links...

OK, figured out what was wrong (lol). The plugin causing the conflict is hxxp://dl.qj.net/psp/homebrew-applications/cfw-m33-620-plugin-updated.html ---> m33_620.prx. With this enabled the PSP would shut itself off after accessing the MS for a few seconds (when booting PSPInstaller). All other plugins tested fine.

Not a big deal to disable 620 plugin 99% of the time (in my case anyway).

I have a PSP Go running 6.20 TN-E. Every time I tried to download something, with the progress bar option on, nothing happened. I did this about 3 times I think. As soon as I turned off progress bar, files finally began to download and install. Great looking program so far. I have a few things to upload for you guys. Mainly I have two modified programs done by these great guys. Modded versions of PSPComic and Prometheus Iso Loader. Think it would be a great addition.
