4. You cannot use bigger images then 512x512, except if it's a jpg. Its sortof a bug with LUAplayer, because normally only images smaller then 512x512 can be loaded. Eventhough its possible, the image shouldn't be really big. I load a 1000x1000 JPG and the filesize is 58 KB.

I tried it, the xmb menu thing looks great, but it's still slow. I'm going to try and use that .20 mod thing but I still don't know how it works.

edit: i figured it out!
It runs fast now, but the music playing is slow and staticy. I tried both
System.setCpuSpeedVHigh()
System.setCpuSpeedHigh()

and they both provide the same results. I don't get why if I run a lua using FIleAssistant it runs FASTER then if I use the program I'm SUPPOSED to use. even after overclocking!

Hey I've been coding a game and I've just run it but in one of my lua script (horsepick.lua) it says that on line 68 there are function arguments. Also in the last script (race.lua) when I run it the images of horses arent transparent. Can someone help me out.

i had this same problem. make sure the transparency thing in the Image:blit (...,...,...,) is true, then if that doesnt work, get the Gimp(a free image editing program) and erase any transparent part

ok i have it set to true. but it doesnt work. And that still doesnt answer my top priority question. sorry if this seems rude

edit: ive solved the transparency problem but can someone help me with the dofile thing

edit: i have not solved the pic problem coz i dont wont to get rid of the white in (*ummmmmm* 6 x 4) 24 images

is it my pc or is the download link you posted very slow?

to fix it add () after

no problem and the images which needed the white removed were the images of the horses. After which i need to make an animation loop :s. Which i think i can do
