I just switched to the latest release and I gotta say that on my psp, the buttons and cursor movement do not work too well. The cursor always drifts to the left unless I give it a quick push to the right and I always have to push buttons at least 2-4 times before I get any response from TZB. Even though the mouse cursor thing is kind of neat, it was much easier moving around with just the dpad - imho, of course. Oh well, back to 2.4.x.
hey agret that is pretty good, and i have to say that i doubt nothing is planned as far as this program goes, meanning that way back when, ted didn't even think about adding a vnc thing to it or mp3 streamming or alot of this stuffZitat:

from just my input and help i think that i9've helped atleast a handfull of people get this working, and have added atleast a couple new features to the future releases

I would be able to transfer file via wi-fi with my mac but FIRST I would move a large file in folder I need. And at the moment there's NO homebrew could do it.... :(Zitat:

Another flavour fr 2.5 Released..
I have made the Main Page a little smoother (mouse should be smooth now)..
MP3 player Play Stop and Skip buttons are available in the main page..
Have just completed the New Graphics Factory, So all the controls are now
3-D..
Menu selection does not flicker..
Will support the mp3 List files in my next release.. Still working on it..

The mouse works alot better (although I still like using the dpad much more). I still get the drifting problem and I still have to press buttons multiple times to get anything to happen. :( Could the select button switch between windows and triangle bring up the menu again?

A few things i'd like to see added:
- Support for DNS so you don't have to put in the IP all the time.
- USB support added just for the hell of it.
and can you work on making the server app refresh the window so you dont have to minimize to tray then bring it up again just to see status log updates?

The about box has a TextArea Control.. (its a little buggy)..

But there is something strange with my TEST.CFG...

The DRIV= C; is that what i can change to DRIV= C:\PSP; right ??
When i start up TedZero, i get still C: showing up and when i quit and go back to the TEST.CFG, it says DRIV= C; again ...

Edit the server's cfg file to point to the folder that you want - not the psp cfg files. Restart the server after you make the changes. This is just off the top of my head so sorry if I'm wrong.

btw that config tool has a missing dll. I've downloaded that dll, but sill that prog doesnt work.

If you want to access it from outside of your LAN, you will need to use your external IP. (Found at Link)
And yes, most internal IPs are similar to 192.168.xxx.xxx.
When i try to load this program with eloader the screen goes blank
and the psp shuts down.
Iv'e followed the guides etc. is it me or does this only work with 1.5 firmware

1.5 only. Too bad becuase this is a really handy program(s).
About the desktop option. Today i tested portablevnc_1.1 and there is a good performance of viewing PC desktop (scrolling - really fast). Maybe someone will use that information to make better tedzero browser?
Hey Ted I was just wondering (since I have personally never written a program for use on the PSP) what programming language you wrote your app in? and also what compiler did/do you use?
p.s.
if you wrote this C++, and are interested in having someone help you to work on stuff like enhancing the "view desktop" feature...I would be more than willing to offer my services.

yes it is, since onlyt one person is working on it (tedzero) and he doesn't have alot of time to work on it, but on the first page of this thread,m there are alot of versions
but no, he hasn't released a final or complete one yet (but some are still good)(it is from scratch mind you)

First off awsome job on this program. I can't imagine how much you have put into it, so thank you in the most extreme. I had a question though that I could not find the answer to. What are the P, S, > icons for, and also, is the USB icon to enter into USB mode even though it shouldn't be needed? Thanks again for the great program.

tedzero, it seems that you might finally be the person I have been looking for. I got the impression that the software for browsing my PC from my PSP is no "standard" so-to-speak. However, I had been upgrading my PSP constantly so that it is now Firmware v2.8 So will it still work with v2.8? Also if so, exactly how would I go about installing it for my version?
