Optional but vital if you don't want someone to get into your files.

Okay, NOW I have the TZero Browser up and running perfectly on my PSP, the only question I have is : are the files on my PC supposed to list themselves on the TZero application? I tried to transfer some JPEGs from my PC to my PSP and it kinda worked: I have a generic icon where the jpegs should be and it has the title of the jpeg (GTA - LCS) but there is nothing there 0KB is how big the file is, there is also another file in there (same generic icon) that says "s 'O' to cancel", this confuses and frightens me (JK) I'm not sure but I think its because I was impatient on the download: it looks like it began to transfer before I inadvertantly cancelled it out of impatience; but seriously, are you supposed to able to see a list of the files on your PC that you want to transfer? Do I need to set up a special folder that I transfer to and from? How am I supposed to know what I'm trying to grab from my PC? If anyone can help, I'd be much obliged!
p.s. (I hope the next version is a little more intuitive)

sorry, just to specify; when I said " How am I supposed to know what I'm trying to grab from my PC?" and "are you supposed to able to see a list of the files on your PC that you want to transfer?" what I meant to say was are you supposed to be able to see the list of files on your PC through the TZero Brwser application (you know, under the C:\ prompt above the contents of the memory stick?)

I have a quick question. Whenever I start up the program on my PSP, my screen goes blank after the logo. Did I do something wrong?
EDIT:: False alarm.. I forgot to put the CONFIG1.txt in the root folder. Last edited by ShockD; 10-22-2005 at 11:33 AM.. |

Dust: yeah you should have a list of folders and or system files in your C:\ directory on your tedbrowser.
Shock: It could either be that you tried to hide the corrupt icon (ive never tried so i wouldn't know if it works or not) or you running a firmware version that doesn't accept it. If anyone has tried on 2.00 please post your findings. |

I haven't tried to hide this corrupt icon yet, I know some programs won't work if you do that so I tend to wait till I get the thing to work before I try hiding icons/customizing them etc...My PSP was 2.0 and is now 1.5, however i do have it tricked out to think its a 7.50 w/Yoshi's version changer(SonyXTeam). I wonder why I can't see a list of what's on my PC under the C:\ prompt in the TZero Browser application; is it a connection problem? Or do I need to have my files that I want to transfer located in a certain place so the TZero appl. can find it? If anyone has a solution to this problem, please post or email me at dustnmyles@gmail.com - I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.
this sux, this is one of the few homebrew app.s I actually want to keep forever and of course its one of the hardest to get working, man does my luck suck sh&*t or what?!!!! Boo-hoo Thanks in advance for whoever can help my dumbass.

OK... fiinished with the Tedzero browser online guide...
Enjoy... tell me if you have problems, my AIM is haxord0tc0m. ![]() (check out InHumanElmo's guide first!!) Oh yeah... and tedzero, a couple more suggestions for your future release: 1. Seperate passwords for guests and the admin, or have some sort of way to prevent guests from deleting your files 2. More than one config file, so that you can choose between networks (i.e. Config1.txt is home network and config2.txt is your "online" server) THANKS! Tedzero ur awesome...

Great work ted.
Thx for fixing the folder and subfolder deletes There is a bug in file size, it only work with files. not with folders that have subfolders inside . ex: i selected C:\programs files and it said 0 KB's and I said "WTF" lol Anyways. Great Work ![]() [EDIT] I have a question: Is it possible for you to add the functions so you can send files from your psp to your pc and delete them like you delete files in your psp? And i got another one: Can you add the functions to rename folders or files and to create folders inside your psp? If one of the 2 question or both is possible, it will be really cool ![]() 2nd[EDIT] You have to add file size for the psp too Last edited by natan333; 10-22-2005 at 05:33 PM.. |

Its a recursive function for server to do it.. and it could be a little time consuming.. so I have kept it off.. Well Uploading files from PSP to PC is a new functionality... you may not be browsing your server... But your thought is considered as an input.. For the time bieng lets hang on for only downloading.. I want to create another page in which you can move files arround in PSP.. Say that you have downloaded a directory from PC which has lots of image files.. But you have to oput these files to PSP/PHOTO folder, else it will be useless.. similarly for the video.. Any way.. Please drop your comments.. and let me improve the product.. All... Please tell me what you want to have in this product.. Its an opnion poll. Goahead.. --Ted |

ok ted, I m more with searching your wonderful program for bugs.
I have 1 idea for adding, I got this idea when you 1st started doing this program, but I dont think it will work out. It will be the best program if there is a way to put your program and PVNC program together because both programs is for browsing your pc. So you can remote your pc and get files from it. and so you dont need to get out of your program, start PVNC to surf arround like browsing the web to download a file to your pc, exit PVNC, start your program again, download the file that you downloaded from the web with PVNC to your psp This is my Idea. and it dosen't get out of my mind!!!

I second Elmo's anti-kitty motion; although I absolutely love cats (I have 6); I was thinking about trying to make like a USB cable with a "NO-SMOKING/Ghostbusters"-like ring around it; or a folder with an arrow coming out of it (Pochi-style!, nice and clean!)...you know a picture that actually has something to do with the application (I haven't even begun to mess with/figure out this new paint shop pro program I just got off a torrent)! If I do get around to kicking some pics/icons out I'll post 'em (IF I have a ****load of homework to do!, man I hate homework) :icon_mad:
Hey I just wanted to pay respects to both TedZero for quite possible the most kick-ass homebrew app I've ever used...and to Elmo for the stellar How-to! Keep up the *****'n work! (I am by no means trying to sound like an ass, but if you could somehow incorporate this into the PVNC veiwer that would woop some major ass! Anyway, thanks again; and again; (Elmo, thanks for answering all my queries, you guys are too cool!) Last edited by dustinmyles; 10-22-2005 at 08:07 PM.. |
