Falo is a 2d sidescroller made in lua based off the popular game/series "Halo". I have been for working on this project for a couple of days now and i have a menu system completed and a basic movement system done (move left/right, duck, and jump). This isnt going as smooth as it could at the moment since im doing coding/gfx and i have encountered a problem in my script that has been fixed (thanks to channel #psplua on irc, irc.toc2rta.com) Down below is a screenshot of the menu and i will be posting screens as i progress. backrounds.

hey i wanted to always work on this, i posted a thread way-back-when but i needed a coder. here is my work...

Ok here are the specifications of my backgrounds. Im going to use a series of 10 480x272 backgrounds. But its just going to made into 1 4800(width)x272 so i can cut it into 10. That way they will match up. So if you can make a sample background (just 1 480x272) that would be easier to chose the best of the best from the n00bs.

I made these for a halo rpg I never finished. They're Final Fantasy style, and obviously you need side scrolling, but you could still use the left/right animations if you wanted.

I'm mainly posting these to show off. Plus photoshop's being a little ***** and turning my bitmaps into jpegs, so consider it a watermark.

Well, i just was looking at this and thought it was a great idea, i made this picture really fast, so tell me what u think of it. please tell me things i could change and stuff like that also. Maybe it is too high graphics?
