For now you must have LuaPlayer installed to play.
Drop the PSPMillionaire folder in your Applications folder in Luaplayer.

This game is based from the show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?".
This is the first release of it and it currently features about 180 questions. This will grow quickly in the

next few versions.
There is currently no sound and no start menu, but the playing side of the game is all there pretty much.
This is far from a final version and should not be expected to be perfect.

SWEEET!! Ive been waiting for a triva game and this is perfect! My suggestions:

- Music of course. Try to get the original music from the show.
- Sound effects like that tense sound they do when the lights move down and they start a enw question or wutever.
- When you try to answer, play a recording of regis saying, "Is that your final answer?" :icon_razz
- maybe an option to play your own MP3s in the background. not that important.
- This would be cool: Custom games! Pretty simple too! Just make it read a TXT file and it uses the questions in there! Like:

Code:

Q1: "What color is the sky?"
a: red
b: blue
c: green
d: eggs

Q2: ".......?"
a: ...
b: ...
c: ...
d: ...

etc....

Thats would be real cool!

You dont have to listen to me, these are just thigns i think would make this a better game! Anyway, very ncie release, well done ansd thanx!

Theres a $100 question where "Louisiana" is spelled "Louisiani"
in the question WHICH OF THESE STATES IS LANDLOCKED?

Hey, If u need any of the sounds i have the whole library of sounds of millionaire cuz i used to be obsessed with that show. just tell me where to send them and which ones u need. i can convert to either wave or mp3. mp3 would prob be the best. all of the sounds i have most likely the best quality. well if u need them email me @ gobrian89@hotmail.com or brianp.crow@gmail.com

by the way i got alot of millionaire pictures so if u need any splash screens made i can do it or any icons and stuff.

I actually did this and it cut the speed of the game in half at least. Not sure what was up with that but yeah, eventually I hope to get it back to standalone.

Thanks. The only problem is that the sounds have to be in some very picky formats to be used in Lua. I actually started making some of my own music for the game tonight
using FL Studio. Not really too hard since I've been a musician for 10 years :P
Trying to keep it with the same vibe as the show.
So far I've done the question music...which is basicly a single string note played with a heartbeat going with it.

I also brought the question count up to 300 today. The questions and hopefully the music will be on the next release, so watch for it here soon

I appreciate the reports of suggestions, typos in the questions, bugs etc...
It's not always possible to find everything yourself.

Also, I didn't explain the gameplay in the help file, which I will do next time.
Basicly answer a question with one of four shape buttons. To use a lifeline hit L, pick yes or no by hitting X, then choose the lifeline with X. Not much else to it really.

"Final Answer?" confirmation may be added sometime...

hey just wondering if u wanted to know, i went ahead and figured out how to make my authentic sounds work for your version. if u would like to try them for urs to just ask. i just used a few conversion tools and they work now.
just replace ur existing sounds with these in the zip archive.

Love this as i love all millionaire games, just because i lurve things "just so" ive fiddled about with it a lot , use d some official sounds from the pc game and done/edited some gfx, I will not post it yet but have sent the author a link
