Yeah, p_sprint works fine, the problem is that it returns a char, not a string.
The way the example works it is has a matrix with every letter in the right place

Wifi would also be nice, but ad-hoc would be better! Is there an ad-hoc lib out there?

well Sam, you could make some sort of picture and

If xy=0 (pad.Buttons & PSP_CTRL_CROSS) {
break;
screenbuffer
printf(%char)++string

for each value where %char equals the character the pointer is over at the given point

Thats exaclty how the sample eboot in p_sprint works.
And bloodstorm, you want a 'beta' release of the messenger thing?
I'll attach my current....version.

'pim' stands for psp instant messenger
controls are simply p_sprint
it uses IrDa, so stand about 1-6 feet away..
the letter you typed is shown in the top-left corner and directly under that and to the right is a recieved letter
the text at the bottom describes what was pushed, (ex.'a', 'b', 'Esc', 'Space')

WOW, thats a really cool program! You might as well talk to them that close, but this might very well be able to be worked on, Do you have the original source for this?? I could think of a few ways to make this look very much like aim. And you could save a picture and name it like icon.bmp and this will load it as an icon for every different PSP, now if i could find a way to load the other persons Icon...hmm

yeah, I got the source, I'll attach it.
as for the other pic, I guess just use the irda: port and send it over!

(again, you know if there is an ad-hoc lib out there?)

Well, put it in a txt file if you can..

*edit* (wow, you posted right when I replied)

ok, off-topic, but by calculator code, you must mean assembly calculator code. I know how to program in TI-BASIC, and that not even close

Anyway, yeah, that must be assembly, or at least it looks like the source of an assembly code. Could you copy-paste it into a txt file and attach it?

Mods, if you have any problem with this, please don't blame/ban me, I didn't know.

The code I WORTE was not extremely large, yet the code displayed is HUGE, I dont know how that happened! I thought I could just Grab the file, But its proving harder than expected...Ill get it somehow..Maybe if I show system files...

If you complete this (which sounds promising), I will put you up there with the likes of the guy who made the nearly full-speed GBA emulator, the guys who exploited 1.50, the Squarez guy, and the 2 guys who made PSP Revolution.

Sam, I put in the ir codes for MY Sony TV, DVD player and VCR for that program, they should all be compatible with other Sony electronics of the same feature.

I HAD A THOUGHT TODAY, Is it possible to send a sort of wave out of the IR port that will bounce back all frequencys it runs into? from there we could almost make a sort of absorb and output kind of remote//
