Hey everyone, this is my first entry into the homebrew scene for PSP, and I have had some exprience with C on the PC before. The first thing I'd like to know is, which is the best way to go about programming to produce some basic 3D, especially if it's hardware accelerated. I took a peek at the 3D Chess game in the works and am impressed. Would it be a great idea to start with the basic cube program included with PSP SDK?
Basically, my first 'serious' program willl be to construct a basic engine that plots points in 3D space, and eventually functions to draw wireframe polygons. Even though it's practically reinventing the wheel, it would be a good learning experience to do this from scratch and I would feel more comfortable knowing exactly what's happening in each function since it's all done by me.
