I think the best thing to do would be to allow PMF some breathing room and prepare for the next update. He knows every PSP owner is patiently awaiting the greatest homebrew app to ever have an affair with your mother!!

ISO, BIN, IMG - Whatever the format, they are all still disc images - just different formats. Just because it doesn't have .ISO file extension doesn't make it any more 'legal' to discuss over PSP image dumps.Zitat:

(they're just as illegal as PSP iso's IMO)...

I have a original game that is on 5 cd's and i want to put it on 1 DVD, if i do 5 ISO's is there a way to create 1 ISO with all 5 to then burn it to a DVD?
Answer:
Please do the steps below.
1. Download daemon-tools from http://www.daeomon-tools.cc/ and install it.
2. Open the first iso image with MagicISO.
3. Mount the second iso image with daemon-tools
4. Drag and drop all files from the cd that mounted with second the iso image to MagicISO.
5. Repeat step #3-#4 to add third-fifth iso image.
6. click "save" button to save the iso image.

If you did have the original game you could always create a BIN image of it with a decent tool like Nero or DVD Decyptor.
Otherwise you shouldnt have used such a lame prog or downloaded that game in the first place!

Im really confused about how this emulator will plays isos. If it has an iso loader how would it pull it off suer mode (not kernel or whatever you call it), since most people are switching from 1.5's now that emulation/homebrew is possible on 2.6. And if you cna make an iso loeader for the ps1 emu for 2.6 than whats stopping people from making a psp iso loeader already?
Because they're completely different. An emulator emulates another system while drawing resources from the system it's running on. An ISO Loader needs the kernel functions of the actual system it's running on. The PSP ISO Loader is not an emulator of PSP games on the PSP, it's just something that enables PSP games to loaded from the memory stick.

ummm... to emulate something at perfect speed you need so many times the processor speed of the original system. therefore, the psp wouldnt b able to emulate a psp at 100% speed. but why would you need or want to emulate a system on itself? im guessing you are either hinting at 2.00+ games on 1.50 or a umd emulator.Zitat:

ehem, ISOs doesn't mean .ISO, with ISOs you mean disc images... there are several diffenent formats, .PDI, .CUE/.BIN, .MDF, .NRG etc...
it doesn't matter what name the formats have, when it does the exact same thing...
Yea, i meant .ISOs. And it only supports .psx, .bin, and .bin.gz files. Not .ISO. That's what I meant.
All the disk images may technically do the exact same thing, but .ISO's won't do anything on this emulator.
Are there .bin files on legitimate PS1 Discs? (Probably a newb question, but to hell I care, rather be informed now then uniformed when its needed)Zitat:
