on ign they said sony will eventually add support for ever ps1 game on their emulator, and Im guessing it wont be hard to download those games of peer to peer but they still will make enough money for them to make it worth while on older games to release it I guess. Also the drawback is ull probably need to redownload the ps1 games u already ahve as isos since theyll prolly be in a different format.

but no one realizes that the psp wasnt made for homebrew, but for god sake, it opened a door for a new type of hacking. Obviously this must have been an idea sony had. to release a ps1 emulator , but once hackers made there way to the psp, there plan was foiled and they had to stall it for a little bit cause they had to create more and more secuirity patch. but since nintendo copies sony in almsot all ways (web browser, tv, microphone over online) i hope they make an n64 emu when the revolution comes out, like if the ds can hook up to the revolution and all ur bought games can be imported into the ds, this is a major possiblity
The PSP wasn't made for homebrew but they put a game icon in it so that got everyone wondering where they can download games.
Why? There are n64 emu's for pc that are perfect and xbox. Why would porting a Revolution emulator to psp solve the problem oh so nicely? Use your head.Zitat:

Hello. I have downloaded the emulator and it's running on my PSP but I just see a video, it has gone like 10 minutes now and I want to play my games, whats the problem? I can't play games? :O

As I recall, PacManFac has yet to implement his dynamic compiler, and even without that the FPS is still around 5. I'm still holding out great hope for PMF, as he certainly knows his stuff :).Zitat:

Obviously you will have to buy some games again to play them full speed. Not all games are going to be rereleased by Sony. It's obvious to me that soon after, the discussion will be turned to illegal copies of these psp PSX games and should people feel guilty because they already bought them. Well... The answer is yes. Many systems recently have seen classic games be rereleased on them. The gamecube alone has had classic zelda games and megaman games released. No one complained about that that anyone paid any attention to. The point is that Sony did this and they are going to get the credit. No point in complaining when you bought the game for Playstation. If you want it on your handheld psp and full speed, you'll have to pay. We used to by the super gameboy and the gamecube gameboy adapters so that we could play those games on there. Its a service. And one you'll pay for IF you want it and only then. Not everything in life is free, think of it as paying for the programming which is running the game (which you did NOT pay for when you bought it for playstation) and not as paying for the game again.
Id have to agree with manaox2..this world revolves around money. In order to get something u must pay somethin of greater of equal value. You cant expect sony to just do this cuz we bought the psp about a year ago, and seriously i highly doubt it would be tha expensive. I know there are tons of kids without a job tha wont be able to buy any games, but for those of us tha can we have to show sony some type of support.
Also coming back to wat manox2 said they need to come up with means to pay the programer(s) who made the emulator. Especially since they're taking such a big blow at their money with the ps3 development.
PacManFan and the other dev working on the PspOne emu are a great bunch of guys. They work so hard on emulating such a complex console. Instead of posting all over this thread about how much slower the pspOne is going to be over the Ps1 emu. You shud offer some words of encouragement and maybe start a separate thread about this whole discussion.
