I can't believe you just said that. Sony made the original and they made the PSP. Considering they don't release any tools to the homebrew community we're lucky to have ANYTHING over and above what they decide to provide us.Zitat:

Good thing I know you're but a minority because this entitlement mentality you've just exhibited would ruin an otherwise good evening.
microsoft doesnt give tools on hacking to the pc community either yet...
Who's talking about hacking? Programming tools, SDKs, and documentation from Microsoft are everywhere and couldn't be more easily available. http://www.msdn.microsoft.com/ is the most obvious link to post up; one of many....Zitat:

thats different than making a nnitendo emulator for the pc isnt it? look how great all emulators are for it.
I agree and it's obvious that Sony got the knowledge to implement a emulator of an hardaware developed and built by them. It's an easy task when you spend millions of dollars in this.Zitat:

Use that little thing in your brain called "common sense". You still use a PC for making them, so it obviously isn't different. The emulation part is obviously easier because the NES is a simple system and we've had a long time to work on it.Zitat:

sony made ps1 and psp they know power whats things are needed all that ****

we make a peiece of homebrew by we i mean the whole forum and you make it before us not easy is it sony has lots of employees and pmf has him plus he probaly has a life outside the internet
...Is english your native language?Zitat:
Zitat von genaga
yes actually im pissed off to day and tired
Quoted for emphasis and for PMF's sake, this thread is getting out of hand.Zitat:
Zitat von DrNicket
Why is this thread still open?
Because the Mods dont want to close it... they are not idiots if they wanted to close it they would have done so
didnt PMF say something about making a website in one of his updates? something like that? if we can find it, we should have a look
He has a website which he'll keep updated.
Just incase if you didn't look at the first post, here it is:
http://home.comcast.net/~shernandez1337/PSPSOne.html
This thread has rapidly degenerated into a farce.
Can a Mod please lock it once and for all? I'm sure PMF will start a new thread when he has some news.
this website isn't updated for a long time! :icon_sad:Zitat:
Zitat von PopcOrn DeVil
why he make that site if he never used them!
We will not have threats of physical violence and illegible posts on this forum. Enjoy you 2 day vacation.Zitat:

EDIT: Lol me= idiot ^_^
he said that the mods are not idiots...
<_<
That is funny. SCREENSHOT'D
Heh, Serideth ;)
Huh? lol
for some reason I doubt PacManFan has even touched this emulator in a looong time.
Theres no reason why he should. PS1 emulation will clearly not excell in any way, and with Sony coming out with their formatted ps1 games, theres more reason not to.Zitat:
Zitat von Slasher
Yeah, I have not heard anything new about this emulator in awhile!
if sony can do it, then give time a homebrew coder can do it :)
he hasn't even visited the site for 2 months.
I have lost all confidence in this project due to the lack of updates. I also will think twice before donating in future. It does not take very long to write one sentence. Lesson learnt
What do you want him to say?
"I'm a little closer to making it work than before."
PacManFan will update us whenever he wants to. Meanwhile, if youre getting impatient then consider the project cancelled. If you get word of an update, than celebrate.
Maybe he is too busy working on it, to play around on the forums, ever think of that?
Well... I really hope he's still working on it, as I would love to play Legend of Dragoon on my PSP... same for FFT...
And somehow - As I know Sony... they only will release some Racing Games, and that was it! ...
But I want the FULL Thing... :D
So - PMF! GOOOO! :D
Now... Wow... Didnt notice it until now... PacManFan (PMF) = PMF (Sony Movie Files?!)
Final Fantasy Tactics? That game was horrible...
CONSPIRACY oh noes:(Zitat:
Zitat von Fou-Ryu
I KNEW HE WAS A SPY >_<
@TO : WTF?! Dont ever say that in front of me!
FFT WAS AWESOME! Just too many Guys didnt understand the word "TACTICS" in the Title... Its Story could easily pawn many RPGs out there! and ff9 as well...
But everything can pawn ff9 :P
I'm almost positive that he has stopped developing this emulator, as he had an on going development thread at the ps2dev.org forums and its been buried since no ones posted in so long: http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.p...f37062c8a84f5c
Also, if you go to his home page and look at the page summary in Firefox, the last time he edited the PSPSOne emu page was Dec 10, 2005. Also, his name is apparently Steve Hernandez :p
:(
Hpefully he can release the source for someone else to work on? This emu is too good to loose.
Too late...it's pretty much lost.
its such a pity...
why doesnt he make it open source than.
