Here's a look at the linking of origin/destination of particle streams with entity entries. You can check out the demo eboot aswell if you want. The speed will drop due to there being many particles alive, but in the actual game there should never be anywhere near as many particles being managed as are currently in this tech demo.
As you can see from the screenshot below, particles that have linked origin AND destination pointers will use those two locations and calculate the heading and lifetime required to get to that point at a random speed between a min/max range.

edit: also as you can see, a friend has drawn another concept ship for me :)
edit#2: one other thing, from reading about 2.0 proofing it seems that WiFi is still pretty easily available using the amazing loader(thanks Fanija & Ditlew!), so this will in all probability be modified into a fully functional game on all platforms :)
edit#3: a shameless link to the friends site. if any of you are into Sonic, check out his site at http://www.theemeraldstarpost.co.uk/ :icon_wink

I tried testing the 2d move and particle demos, but they didn't do anything after the psp load screen. I'm on 1.5 so I don't know what I did wrong.
BTW, this is looking to be an awesome game, keep at it!

That's strange, the paths for all resources are relative so there shouldn't be any problems with loading images. I'll check it out, see if I can find anything. And thanks, I'm really enjoying coding this

Could anyone else report on if the previous release(is it working or not), as I'm trying to find out what caused the eBoot not to run for UberBiggs. Thanks.

Ok, I redownloaded the newest version and it works perfectly now (and awesomely I might add!). The particle effects are pretty cool. Looking forward to the next demo release.
