Post Macro?

Has anyone made a PSP Macro, that performs a task whilst in back end mode? Such as a simple text input, because until thats possible a IR keyboard will not be possible...

The closest you will get is controling your psp with a phone, but even then someone with symbian skills will need to help for free...

NOTE: No homebrew can be screenshotted, cuz the psp freezes after any of them loading, also u have to press SELECT at first if you want to use UMD' also HOLD DOWN L AT ALL TIMES, except when a screenshot is needed...

My ScreenShots:

Default PSPShot 0.2

Thanks for all the comments :icon_wink

I still can't remove these strange lines, but i nearly can solve this problem with UMD Games.

Nevertheless I added a few new features to this release:
USB Support everywhere (eg. Games)
Remote control support
No need for pressing any button to set the screen for screenshot mode
More comfortable button settings

You can download it here

Enjoy :)

Sweet :P Now only if this would work with those homebrew apps that did not have screenshot codes :P

put it in the eboot loader and try.

The question to ask is will this work during an upgrade? Can you take pictures after you upgrade? Just as long as you don't turn off the psp.

Nope, doesnt work with 2.0, when you load it, a plain blue screen comes up then it turns off the PSP.
Sounds nice, hope it can be upgraded :)

And besides, I wouldn't know what to do even if it did work. What could I load with it? My first guess would be to change the source to load eboots like fileassitant when you press the (snap shot button)

Oh shutup people, 2.00 it wont work, 2.00 dosnt support emulation or background threads of ANY sort. As for Lord Pip, don't even think about updating whilst your psp's firmware is running irregularly, because the author will NOT be responcible.

Also, when an update takes place, a little enviroment is written to F0, then the update wipes out the REST of F0, and writes the new FirmWare to F0, then restarts, which obviously clears the memory which would take PSPShot out if it even suvived that far.

My guess is ur psp would crash when opening the Update Eboot.

I tried it on 2 UMD games, Ridge Racers & Twisted Metal. Both didn't work. Ridge Racers hangs while loading and Twisted Metal crashed with some kind of kernel error code. Screen dumps on the PSP Shell works. Did anyone get it to work with the 2 games I mentioned?

Default PSPShot v0.3 preview

Hi,

I decided to make a short preview of PSPShot v0.3. As you can see, I have solved the problem with the occasional lines which showed up in some screenshots, but there is still a bug with too much moving in screen and with UMD games. So it's too early for a release :)

Default PSPShot v0.3

Hi @ all, I'm back :icon_wink

Maybe I've good news:
Finaly PSPShot takes perfekt screenshots of nearly everything. I know, a few days ago, someone has released a program clled PSPcapture, which makes perfekt screenshots of games, but I promised to solve this problem in my program, so I released PSPShot v0.3.

New in this version:
Homebrew support (not realy, but it works (see readme))
Removed some bugs (e.g. those occasional lines)

You can download the new version here!
