Smile I want to start developing homebrew

I'm interested in making homebrew app's and games for the psp, and am willing to devote my time to learning the hardware, coding and such for making homebrew for the psp.

My question is what do I need to start making homebrew for the psp? Can I use bloodshed dev-C++ to write homebrew programs for the psp? I just downloaded the pspSDK 1.0 beta off of ps2dev.org, I just need to know what else I need to get started, Links appreciated, Thanks in advance. :icon_wink

http://www.scriptscribbler.com/psp/t...s/lesson01.htm

first lesson covers all the bases regarding setting up the development environment and making eboots and all that w/ c/c++, it takes a while to install/download everything, then a couple hours to actually set up the pspsdk toolkit (involves letting a script run basically, no real work involved )
enjoy!

Wink Thanks a bunch!

Thank you very much I'll take a look into it later when I get home, may take alot longer than a couple hours to download/install the development enviroment, because of me being on 56k dial-up at my house, used to have a 1.5 mbit per second download speed when I had cable, but me and my family had to move, so now we are forced to live with dial-up.

Yeah you will probably have to leave the toolchain installing/updating overnight I feel your pain man....I could never go back to dialup after having 9mbs cable for years....
