[COLOR=Silver]Hey guys, I was playing Super Tux- a homebrewed game and its pretty fun. Then i was looking around in the source code, and played a little bit around with the code and graphics. So basicly its based on the Super Tux sorce code super metriods graphics. Its turning out pretty good so far. And not cheap or crappy looking. I like to make things at least look good. So it plays like mario a bit but is still fun. Samus is compleate but im still working on the world and tile editing. If u guys have any requests or commments about how the game should be or what ur idea is about this, please post.
I hope to have this done in a week or 2.
Also if i get it done do i just send it to pspupdates?

Heh, sounds neat. May want to get the ok from the original creator though

And my only request is that you make your post(s) in the normal color, or at least one we can read without highlighting.

Nice, metroid's like my favorite thing. Are you able to put up any pictures of what you have so far or anything? Oh, and what is Super Tux?

well i think im going to down load that psp screen shot taker and i will post what i have so far- and Super Tux is a game about a pinguin thats like a mario style game go to QJ psp download section

This ought to turn out well, Super Tux is fun, just played the 1st level. A lot like Super Mario World.
And yes, it does work on 2.0, so if all you are doing is the graphical changes, it should still work.

im still working on that and im thinking just the origanal ones sence most of my work is sprite editing

but it wont be disipointing, its more of a shooter side scrolling game and youll reconise the enemys

I wouldn't name it Metroid: Dread since that was the name of the DS game that was planned and cancelled.

Instead of the flower some power-up that shoots out of the arm cannon could be neat.
