hello i want to start learning and typing in C++ so i install cygwin and i got the toolchain the new one in witch is in perl then when i go to install i type ls then new-toolchain-script then i type cd new-toolchain-script then i type ls once again and toolchain.pl comes up so i type/toolchain.pl then it says bash: ./toolchain.pl: /usr/bin/perl: bad interpreter: no such file or directory.
so i need to no wat i am doing wrong so i can install the toolchain and i can start making stuff for the psp plz help |

Looks like you dont have perl installed.
Run the cygwin setup program again (don't worry, we aren't reinstalling, you can run it and add on more bits). Go forwards untill you get to the screen where you chose what to install, In one of the sections you will find perl (most likely the development section), tick it and hit next a few more times to install it. Now run cygwin and try the toolchain installer again. Hope that helps. Danzel. |
