To your makefile's LIBS line. There is no reference there to a function in zlib PSPJunkie_.

You may also have to add -lpspgum, but Im not seeing any references to it, so itd be unnecesary.

if what PSPduh said is what you're trying to say, then no. because, the led operates straight from the battery, and has no relation to any other boards.

just open one file for reading and one for writing then read a byte from the one you wish to copy. and write it to the write file, repeat until you have the entire file.

also you could have searched, this has been asked many times before.

Check out the file io example in PSPSDK, it has a handy write_file function which I use a lot :)

PSPduh - Once you enter an operator, anything after it is compared to it until another operator, logical AND (&&) being an operator, itll only take whats after it until the next operator. So waht your saying there...

Is if 's1' evaluates to true, and s2 evaluates to true, and s3 evaluates to 1 ('true' as well), then print LOL... else if any of those conditions arent met, perform the 'else' statement.

You could use an array and for loop to compare each element in that array to the same value in ~1 line of code... But that may not be what you want/are asking for...

And as for setting values to variables, you CAN do:

s1 = s2 = s3 = 1;

Some will say itd set s1 to s2, s2 to s3 and s3 to 1, but in all honesty, it sets s3 to 1, then s2 to s3 (1) and s1 to s2 (1), or atleast that is what appears to be going on, maybe theres some routine its using to set the variables to 1 thats different then this...

Also PSPduh - practice makes perfect, you could have found out the answers to your questions just by doing a simple app trying them out.

If you want to check that all variables have the same value 0 or 1, you could do that by doing bitwise AND/OR and check if the result is the value they should have.

You use them mainly for masking out bits, so it's rarely used, since normally you don't pack values together into bigger datatypes (like 8 bools into one char). You will use that a lot when you do compression algorithms.

Could you explain that sentence in other words? I really dunno what you're trying to say.

Also, bitwise ops are also useful in if statements with lots of checks, because in some cases it might be faster to do bitwise &| to find results than doing logic &&||.
That's because with logic &&||, every single expression is checked on itself and needs a branch instruction - those are slow. Bitwise ops only cost 1 clock cycle each and in the end, you only have one compare and branch instruction.

So say you have s1 = true, s2 = false, s3 = true and want to check if all of them are true:
if (s1 & s2 & s3) ... will resolve to two bitwise ops (2cylces) plus one branch on false.
if (s1 && s2 && s3) ... on the other hand, will resolve to three branch instructions in the worst case (all three are true), and two in this case.
If you want to check them to be all false, you'd need to OR them together.

Not the best example, but it should show what I'm aiming at.

Ok I think I used a bad example.
I am NOT using 0 as false and 1 as true.
s1, s2, and s3 are integers, not bools.
I'm just using 0 and 1 because those were the first two numbers that came to mind.
I'm guessing that it would still work?

That's not an error, you'll always see that when compiling. Just the makefile cleaning up after itself I believe, when you see the rm command.

or you could read it all to memory like you said and then write.

also I would suggest reading up on c file IO, if you already have do again. If you knew it well enough something as simple as copying a file should be no problem.

then why does an eboot not appear? it creates an elf file, but no eboot.
