I've spent last year learning C++ with any spare moment I had.. in an attempt to makes some games and maybe get a cool well paid job doing something that rewards me out of it some day.. anyway during my crawl through C++ articles and tuts I managed to get a good understanding of 2D game dev I now find myself dev'in a lil for the PSP at the end of last year.. but when I came across 3D tuts.. I scanned the code to see if I could take in random bits.. but scared myself too much.. is there anyone out there that has been through the 2d -> 3d transition that has a good example or tut that will make the process less painful?
EDIT: oh and I'd never code 3D in straight C.. why make something harder than it already is! Last edited by BlackPhoenix; 02-10-2006 at 10:43 AM.. |

Then once you feel pretty comfortable with openGL 2-d stuff.. applying it to 3-d is almost as simple as adding that last vertex! Best of luck...
