Arrow SNES TYL 0.3 source?

Hey all, I was just wondering if the source to SNES tyl 0.3 was available, the only reason I'm completely starting a new thread is because I saw the version 0.1's source was released: http://dl.qj.net/Snes9x-TYL-v0.1-Sou.../327/catid/203

But thats the only source I could find. I only want it to mod the menu a bit for myself (I don't like how slow to move through the options is, also to make X the selection button) and just to look at how it works. Also, on Yoyofr's site, www.yoyofr92.free.fr it says everything is open source, but I looked here: http://yoyofr92.free.fr/psp/snespsp.html and only the source is out for version 0.1. Does anyone know why the newer versions are closed source or if the source is available elsewhere? If it is truly closed source, perhaps you could release it, Yoyofr??? Is it only closed for lack of public interest in the source? Well I for one, am interested!

From what I know they still want to keep control of the project.
Ie, instead of like 16 different versions of PMP slightly modified one way or the other, they want to keep control of the code tree. Could be for a lot of reasons, like not wanting to confuse the user (what's better Snes9x TYL 3AL4.6 or blah) etc

Afaik they said the code for 0.1 would be released when 0.2 was released, and it has been, so I assume that 0.2c's source would be released with the release of 0.3, but they may just be slack updating the site ^_^

So maybe you could contact them about it? I'm sure they'll release 0.2c's source quite happily, not sure on 0.3 however.

Best of luck

Oh yea :/ Later today I will try and contact them and see if they can send me the source and then any modifications I make I will send to them instead of releasing, so perhaps the next version can include the changes or something. The code is in C++ I saw when I was looking at the 0.1 source, but hopefully the simple changes I want to make will be easy to find and change, they're probably numerical values. I code for the PSP in C, but I think I could understand it.

I'm not sure what the license of Snes9x is, but they may be legally bound to release the source code since it was, indeed, and open source project to start with. They didn't build it from the ground up.
