Mmmk, I read this earlier:
A perfect game for the psp browser

ANd did a quick search, and saw no php rpgs made especially for veiwing on the PSP

If I were to do one, would there be much interest?

Let me know, don't wanna' be wasting my time.

NOTE: If there was interest, it could possibly be out within or slightly after a week..

there have been games on the psp written in html
is there a differance between html and php?
that sounds like a dumb question... but im tired as friggits

Basicly, it'd be a full blown online game with logging in, signing up, and whatnot.

edit: and this would be an RPG, where you would fight other players, earn money to buy things ect

I'd play for sure. I've been looking for something to do on my PSP while I'm away from my PC other than play the games I've got. Most web pages I go to aren't very good for viewing on the PSP and there are a few RPG like places I'd like to go to but they're just awful to try and play on.

I'm all for it though. I'd help out with graphics and such if you'd like but I have no clue on php programming.

I have slowly started one
I have decided to run it on phpbb
there is a mod called questmod2
very "start your own mod"
it opens the game in a javescript window. All you have to do is change it to open straight into the php script.
I only have my wamp server to tied me over till what ever time.

I can guarentee if you made a good rpg accessable through the webbrowser, that you would have ****loads of people playing....people around here are desperate for an rpg it seems :P

I'd play it. I was going to make a JavaScript RPG earlier, and I released simple demos of my progress... I still haven't gotten around to making the battle system.
