Default New port - Looking for Devs

Hello!
I am in need of a few devs to help me create what I would like to have be the port of Commander Keen! Commander Keen was a popular side scroller made in the early 90's for DOS

So heres what im planning for
2-3 devs that can help get the project underway and into motion.
I need hard working dedicated people that have an understanding of what porting is all about and the code they are working with.

Please respond if you have any intrest in taking part in the porting of this game!

Be more specific, to some, this may sound like a request if read the wrong way.

Also, by 'port' I assume you have the source code?

Supported platforms
This lists all current ports of CloneKeen that I'm aware of. If you release your own port please let me know so I can put it here. See comments in download section.

* Windows
* Linux/X11 (port by Chris Hilton, integrated into main source)
* Dreamcast (port maintained by GPF, not yet integrated into main devel code)
* GP2X handheld (port maintained by Mudi, not yet integrated into main devel code)
* GP32 handheld beta port (port by A600, not yet integrated)
* Possibly other OS's, untested as yet
This thread does look alot like a request...

You shouldn't need a whole team to help you with a port, Paul-D. Do it yourself, and ask for help if you need it. It sounds like you're just wanting others to do all the work for you.

Uhh..?

Again I am set back, we had winter carnival stuff today so i didnt get home until 10ish. I find that working with people things get done faster, and you tend to learn alot of stuff. Oh well, I guess ill just see what I can do by myself for now Gotta start somwhere.

What you'll probably find in the PSP development world is that the more people you add to a project the less likely anything will be done. You'll also find that at least in this forum "I need extra coders to help" is slang for "I need coders to do the work while I come up with clever ideas".

When asking for coding help here it's best to have something of your own to show you're not just another "team leader".

Not to mention if you did port with a team, itd be pointless cause your just debugging the source to PSP calls and statements (instead of space bar to shoot, X to shoot), and if you had a team, then you would just have one person debug while the others do nothing really except debug too which would just be doing the same thing over again
