i dont know about opensource, but WAB and T.E.E. made version changers. u can get them here, u just have to scroll down a little bit more than half a page.

I can make you one. All you have to do is hex-edit the version. There's no added chance of bricking. I'm not responsible if you do brick it though.

Nothing special. UMD games probably wouldn't work, but you could use homebrew to load them. The downgrader changes a 2.0 PSP's version to version 1.0.

so i posted and posted and poste and then psphax0r hex edited pspset 9 to tweak my firmware

he changed the title of Change psp to 2.0, to change psp to 1337

unfortuanly only the title was changed and even though it said it changed to 1337 it was 2.0

we (mostly him) are trying to get through this

okay me and my friends were hangin out and we were watching a flash movie and something that was funny popped up and we couldnt stop laughing and the word boof popped into my head. now we use it as a greeting like "boof mang"

it will replace any word inthe english language like me and courtney boofed last nite which means taht we studied together... courneys boy friend (was watching the flashmovie with us) finds it the funniest and cracks up when i tell him me and courtney boofed all day long
