how long did it take you to install the pspsdk toolchain with cygwin? soz i am just a n00b and wondering about it. thank you very much for any replies

A couple of hours...i keep getting errors when installing it though

think i left it for about 2 - 3 hours doin its thing. saw the odd error coming up on the screen but everythin seems ok :icon_smil

2-3 hours (on a p4 2.8 ghz pc with 1 gig ram), no errors, using neighbor's wifi lol

13 hours. haha cause that was on a win 98 366 mhz comp. but now i did it on a win XP 2.60 ghz and took around 3 hours

put linux on the old comp

Bah Gentoo for an old machine? Can you say sloooooooooooooooow? :P Don't get me wrong, I loved Gentoo, but Portage needs some good specs to compile all that crap

Then again, my distro of choice, Kubuntu, isn't too good for old machines either. Try Slackware, it ran decent on my old AMD k6
