Me and my freinds are making a 2.5 downgrader and we are almost done but we get stuck in the check any advice

dude, i already managed to downgrade 2.5 about 3 years back...

thread to post this in :icon_wink . Look at
all the other threads containing "2.50 Downgrader"
And you'll see that more than half of them have been

Then would you mind enlight us about how you managed to actually mount the flash0:/ device and found a way to change the index.dat file when 2.60 actually uses a different encryption for this file than 1.50 ?....

Agreed, I'll stop flamming, still I am thinking it's just another psp noob trying to get informations from developpers on how to downgrade his 2.60 psp...I might be wrong tough

yeh, i was about to say. one just like this in the general help forum or something? it was a group of friends who got annoyed at not being able to play certain games-you can probably guess what they were-so they thought they would go into a downgrader...they just tried to hex edit a 1.51 eboot update...how silly...

i'll give it 10 mins till this thread is locked...i hardly think you are making a downgrader, considering that you're asking for a 2.5 downgrader? how stupid do you really think many of the great psp legends are? and how stupid is everyone else? if there were a downgrader, or at least a way to downgrade with relative ease (used in a bad way here i know) then it would be over every site by now, and no one wouldn't know about it...
please be happy with what fanjita has done for you, and play some lovely homebrew available, rather than going down the route of piracy.

He never states anywhere that he plans on using pirated games (whenever) he plans on downgrading his 2.5(lol). 1.5 isn't just meant for isos, gotta love kernel

i know he didn't say that, but being honest, there isn't a lot more you would want 1.5 for. gba emulator? runs at about half speed...i guess it is possible that they really want to do it for the good of people, and so others will be able to use things like pspradio, or other great wifi apps.
sorry if i did misjudge, but i read on a different downgrader, someone came to the same conclusion as myself, which is perhaps i brought it up in my arguement just then. (not blaming it on the other person who said it in the other thread either now, was my bad!)

I Use 1.50 For Firmware hacks, MPHGame loader,
the Saturn Comitee Gameloader, MPH Firmware loader
(To test out my firmware hacks!) and more...
