If I were to do what was asked, I would start with Flashmod source,
It would be easier than isolating that one copy/verify function from the rest of the program.
You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day,,,, etc.
not everyone actually wants to learn programming though I suppose.

Your file is included, it needs to be in the same folder as the non-kxploit eboot but not nessecarily in that exact directory. ( Just needs to accompany the eboot. )

Alright thank you Art. And RaiderX, thats exactly what I did a couple days ago, took the faceplate off, and all the bottom buttons are is one long PCB. Do you, or anyone know of a place to just buy a replacement one of those? I may just go buy a junk PSP off eBay, but that may be too much work :PZitat:

As you've noticed, we've posted an apology. However, I assure you that the comments that were made were NOT meant to be any sort of insult as to the quality of the program. The writer was simply trying to dress up the usual "Programs that flash your PSP could possibly brick it" comment. It apparently didn't come off well and was misinterpretted.
Again, the point was not to discredit this program or the author and was not meant in any negative way, whatsoever. We're sorry that it was taken as such.
At least he has apologised. C'mon Art, it may of offended you, but your app is amazing.:)

I accept the apology for what was written on the article on the front page

This isn't true for every version, but the current one is posted excluseively

1. Are stupid ****ing n00bs who dont know what the **** their are doing, and would have bricked their PSP anyways with another flash app.
2. Just want to say stupid crap as they have nothing better to do.
3. Do not read readmes, and just flash withough knowledgable knowing what they are doing. I have been using your program since the file swap days, WAY before custom firmware, and I am still using it above ALL other flashing apps. Why, is that? Because, simply put, its the best. Screw the people in the comments areas, anyways, what the **** is a 12 year old doing flashing his PSP? And what kind of parent would allow this?
Stopping programming or stopping work on this program isn't in question.
Exactly how to distribute it is. I think that if I'd taken up one of the many kind
offers of a host that I have control over a while back, It would be better.

If you tell Qj not to host it they won't.

Brick your PSP with XFlash?
Sorry, that's close to impossible IMHO.... OK, as long as you don't flash false fonts or gameboots, and even then.... c'mon XFlash contains DarkAlex' custom firmware.... (another great thing of Art, now I don't even need DarkAlex' installer *lol*)
So, recovery and there ya go....

XFlash was, is and will be on my Top-3 list of PSP tools and I will support it as much as I can....

i'd be willing to host you, but alas, my home cable connection most likely couldn't handle the traffic.
you really should look at getting a site for xflash that you'd have full control over, doesn't seem like qj is the place for it.
you can host x-fash downloads at filelodge, and get a free .co.nr domain.
filelodge supports uploads up to 50mb, and each account can have like 500mb of storage.
I'm not telling QJ not to host it.
It's more like don't take it out of my thread and put it in a news article starting
out by telling ppl it's ****, which is the only way I can interpret what was
said after working hard at it.
I can't bag the site in general, over one mistake of one of their staff though,
when overall it is pretty fair going here.
I am also asking myself if anything to do with a game console should upset a mature adult.
