Custom gameboots have to have the right headers too.
You haven't chosen a photo wallpaper in the mean time?
I'm thinking Photo wallpapers are written to flash0.. taking up space..
Are any of the gameboots that don't work from UMD games?
I imagine pmf movies in games would have to play because they do in the games.
So it shouldn't be hard to fix a plain black one..Zitat:

I don't get is :
why your xFlash 16 didn't make to front page ????/
I think host forgot to check your post :D :D
There was something about it on front page just before I released it.
Also, the bloggers are sometimes a bit late.
Well I can recall if I've tried any ripped ones, it's mostly customs.
But I have two 400kb gameboots that both worked in 1.5. Now for some reason one no longer works in SE. I just find it odd and have yet to hear a real explantion why.
Its on MYQJ.net
Since it wasn't on the front page yet, I decided to make my first my.qj article on it.:)
There was a "Coming Soon" article on the front page, but it hasn't been updated.
oh..... well I don't check myqj.net :D :D
You should, Theres some intresting stuff in there.
oh cool I will ..... but when I want to go to MYQJ.net there is nothing about PSP or any other console ??????
You should make a post about your final release.
post here u mean>>>??????
No, In MYQJ, Anyways Art, Why dont you put an easter egg for us "Non-Loyal 1.50ers"
how come black gameboot doesnt work on SE-B''? :(
It will for V16b :)
I just got one working now.
See the list of updates in the first post.
I'm trying for debranded gameboot next.
Art.
Hey Art, what are the differences between the version before this one for 1.5 users. Other than the faster check of nessisary files.
BTW:tup: thx for still continuing to support the SE users, though not a fan myself, I can still appriciate what your doing for both sides.
Yes art, the psp "background" is stored in flash1, and takes up around 400kb so removing that is useful.
Except i think saving a background when there is not enough space is very problematic, as we don't exactly know the psp's flash1 writing methods.
The ascii Easter egg is the only difference (posted further up).
It will be a while before I do anything other than 2.71 support.
Maybe if I get everything other than menu editor working, I might
change over permanently... still uncertain though. I only need 2.71
to play a couple of games, and loading Devhook isn't that bad.
Art.
I think a debranded 1.50 whateva rco works, but just test to be sure.Zitat:

The SE-B customizer guys already have that feature nailed lol, but x-flash is gunna pwn all soon. :)
Doesn't flash1 have it's own partitioned space?
How would that interfere with the space left on flash0?
Art, How do you make the disclaimer screen disapear forever after you accept? I mean whats the code for it.
It think you need to ask 0x89 guys coz they had to know that

i think it makes a file that was not there beforeZitat:

There is an agreement status setting stored in the file Xflash/Theme.XF,
where the colour theme setting is also stored, and yes, that whole file
doesn't exist until you launch for the first time, so either way would work.
Oh, Ok thanks.
X-flash already pwns all NOW
Once X-Flash is fully doen for use on 2.71 SE then 2.71 SE will own 1.50.
I can assure u it will :D
Here is an early release of the 2.71 Plain Black Gameboot.

Huh? :DZitat:

Have any ideas on how to get custom names on a 2.71 topmenu Art?
Not unless we can decrypt it, change it, then re-encrypt it.
I think we can only decrypt it? .. not sure.
But once everything is done on the stock 2.71, I definately want to support
the decrypted 2.5 topmenu_plugin (if it is on the subject PSP).
I don't think there is any way!!!! its like that PSP supports a new way of reading ......
Can you decrypt it Art?
Because it will load an unencrypted rco seeing as it loads the 2.50 one.
Tell me how and I'll try it.
I dunno, I just thought 2.71 had been decrypted?
Maybe I'm mistaken.
maybe I will work on it myself tomorrow
Thats just the reboot.bin
Thats the only file the needs to be decrypted for devhook.
Fair enough, when you keep your head buried in some things, it's not
possible to keep up in other areas.
Yay! finally got Debranded Gameboot for 2.71 :)
The features listed in the first post will do for the next release (V16b).
Sweet! Im waiting...
Did you just change random bytes till you got it?
Or is there a method to it?
