I think one day, it would be good to check to see if there is another version

Ok, now all of the menu that can be done in 2.71 SE is ready :)
Interestingly, the original XMB menu click sound is 16 bytes longer in one firmware than the other..
it's obviously the same actual sound though.
So the features that remain disabled are:
XMB Menu Label editor, Version spoofers, mp3 backup and restore from flash0
(coz there's not enough space on flash0).
The 1.50 custom firmware tools must also remain disabled for 2.71 of course.
I'll try to implement a routine to check for flash0 free space prior to any
file being written. It wansn't an issue for 1.50 with megs of space left over.
Question:
What's the exact size in bytes of the original POP gameboot?
I've seen two sizes on the net.
196 kb on disk :: (200,704 bytes) that was mien in a fresh new installation.
Is size on disk (in bytes) the same as size...the field above it?
because that's where the real size is displayed.
I would keep this firmware if only I could get PSPRadio working.
My wifi does light up, and I can connect with the XMB browser, but no PSPRadio :(

I had a huge amount of problems with PSPRadio on 1.50 including that one so I gave up.
Also the PoP gameboots are slightly different.

okay there are three main PoP gamebotos out there.
One slash ( most popular) 516KB ( i wrote this one with Dr.Flash 4kb is 4 kb)
three claw slashes ( seond one ) 566KB
several slashes ( never used, its too long) i think around 600 KB
there is also one temple one, and one other one that i jsut saw today, with some blue flashing light ( the psp camera on SE-B" video demonstration)
the temple one is like 322 KB

how can i disable the umd auto boot feature in 2.71 SE-B"? after the pmf intro movie after startup it has the error screen and says"the game cannot be loaded". how do i get rid of that? i look in recovery and messed around with it for a while but its still happening?
you can't :( you can only pass both of them (intro and auto umd boot) from the configurator (as far as I know :) ) :D

lol I don't put in UMD in the drive anymore because of that and I use no-UMD mode xD
yeah i dont use my umds cause my drive i shot! should i still be getting that error with no umd in the drive?
