Zitat von Kartoon
if you know any thing about coding :
and thats it :DCode:sceioremove("the path of the file");
//Note that the path can be anywhere even your flash0:
Nig files?Zitat:

Or, you know, the fact the the "b" and "n" keys're right next to each other. >.>
That could be it.
Lolz and I bet it has guns and plays grand theft auto in the background...Zitat:

Ok well I made a Killer 7 gameboot. It's 3 seconds long and so is the audio. Yet, when I flash it and run it, it cuts out short. The audio says "Tricks are for kids Kun, I'm an old man" but when I flash it, the entire video plays but all it says is "Tricks are for kids Kun..."
Anyway to fix this? I'm using the newest X-Flash and I have SE-B''.
lol! but i think you went a little far...Zitat:

lawll. nig files. . . that was my laugh for the day. . good times . . .good times
*attempts to pull topic back in line*ugghhh!!!*fails miserably*
so whats the deal with the label editors, is that going to be available, becuase uflash had it.
Sure about that?Zitat:

yea, couldn't you flash a topmenu_plugin, thingy?
Always bricked in SE-B''...
And you can do it in X-Flash...get 1.50
it is encrypted...Zitat:
Zitat von JEMdev
the topmenu_plugin.rco that you could flash (in uFlash) didn't change the name(but someone edited it!!!!!) ... in fact you could only remove the glow of the XMB ICON's .....
No wonder people are having trouble flashing things...
This is my 2.71 SE-B3 installation with 10Kb black gameboot,
and ascii custom font (included with X-Flash).
Once the blood & claw gameboot is on it, there would be barely room for anything else.Code:Size: 19.6 MB (20,609,752 bytes)
Size on Disk: 23.2 MB (24,395,776 bytes)
Maybe chacking for free space woill be easier than I thought.
Damn..
Sucks when you think about any other SE update coming along.
im thinking clean install, and all black everything,
(and mcr font, becuase it pwns.)
what happens if you flash your kn to flash1: and then tell the .txt file to read them from flash1: ?????
if that can be true we have to talk to DA (for the space)
flash1 and flash0 share the same space, so thats useless, besides whats the point?
Bah.
GJ on the progress Art!
lol I forgot :::: DAMNIT :::::

so if you can put kn folder in ms0:/ then edit the .txt file (now what?????)
pretty sure that wouldn't work.
They don't share the same space, they are two FAT12 partitions.Zitat:

24Mb and 4Mb.

"i've dumped the lflash device and it seems that there are four fat-12 partitions on it:
0x00000000...0x017FC1FF (~24MB) flash0 files
0x01800000...0x01BFC1FF (~4MB) flash1 files
0x01C00000...0x01CFC1FF (~1MB) no files
0x01D00000...0x01DEC1FF (~1MB) no files"
ohh nice ... so maybe we can move the files right ???
-= Double Post =-
and that is why?????Zitat:
Zitat von JEMdev
the screenshot.prx worked for me when I only edited the txt file .....
and it was in ms0:/dh/mode/
hmmmm. what about those 2 partitions with know files.
hmm I think that we are not allowed to touch them :( coz no one did till now ..so we don''t know any thing about them ....
can't flash a single gameboot anymore. i've tried all the ones i had that did work. Not to sure what i did between my last working and now. Tried a v16b roll back, no avail. I did debrand the screen thou but the gameboot at the time worked fine. now all it says is now that there not verified. Tried a 12?k, 38?k, 5?? sized gameboots.

restore original does not work, but all my custom game boots work using the PMFplayer (not the windows one)
hmmmm....
i have a gameboot (ripped for mgs acid)
and it works fine.
I had a bunch working fine, then the release for v16c(then quickly d) came out with more options for SE users. So i debranded the gameboot, and a couple of other things. Now i can't flash any gameboot anymore, just won't pass verification even though its the exact same file i was using previously.

sorry for the double posting, but i just checked out the X-Flash forums. Looks like i'm not alone on this. Something changed going from 16b to 16d. Solution is full reinstallation of the CF. (i can deal with white screen for now).
HERE
AND HERE
another question, is the actual flash location flash0/vhs/resource?
yes the flash locations is flash0:/vsh/resources/"gameboot.pmf"
clean install
no wonder the mods hate you .....
yeah thanks for the tip there JEMdev, I can wait until ART comes up with a hotfix or version E
Cant wait for version E!
to Art:
Note that if you are using config.se for checking if it is SE or not .....
if they where at SE before then they got to 1.50 adn then upgraded to 2.71 (real) the config.se still exist!!!!
I chack the existence of a couple of files, then the size of vshmain which changes for every update. That's why X-Flash won't run on any new SE versions
until I do updates. This is probably a good thing because the squeeze on space will only get tighter.
why don't you just ditch the firmware checker, and slap a "use at your own risk" in the readme.txt?
