To fix the corrupt registry settings, simply reset your settings to default and you should be fine.

wat does x flash do exactly
it modifies your PSP.
It can change the monthly backgrounds, gameboots, fonts, boot sounds, XMB labels, and various other things.

is it possible to modify the menu label texts in fw 3.03? i used that small program called XFME_win.exe to generate custom menu labels to be flashed with x-flash. but that's as far as i could get... what to do next? i cant seem to find a way to do this in x-flash... thanks for ur help!
art i made my own name plate to replace yours and xflash refuses to flash it to my psp it is half the size of yours under 400kb and 480x272 PNG.
Title of pic name_plate is there another reason u can think of that i might have messed up on..i've done it lots of times never had this refuse on a pic before thanks in advance...........:)

Can I change the german xmb label by using the xflash editor? (after i've flashed the topmenu_plugin.rco)?

Hi, I'm new here and to PSP scene in general. After some trial and error I've finally managed to update my PSP to Dark_Alex's 3.03 OE today. Next thing I've put on it was X-Flash, as I've read it's good :D
However, I've run into a problem:
When I go into memory stick under GAME menu, X-Flash intro screen shows and music begins to play. As soon as I hit (X), PSP loading screen appears, and then I get the following error message: "The game could not be started. (8002014C)"
Could any kind soul enlighten me as to what I am doing wrong? Many thanks!
Did you put X-Flash and every homebrew you own in the GAME150 folder? Chances are, you put it in the GAME folder.

Just read the README.txts and some of the posts here to became an expert on X-Flash.
Its real easy once you get the hang of it.
I can confirm that:
3.03 OE-A' + X-flash 18h = Boot
the new X-Flash does work on 3.03OE-A firmware because iv'e used it to debrand my gameboot and permantly remove the network update.
v18h DOESN'T work, I just tried again. I don't have a SS mod though to snap a pic. It might work for 3.03OE-A, but not for 3.03OE-A'(2)

i wanna use it so bad but i kno nothing about it.....people say if you dont kno nothing about it dont try it.....well thats a lie cause i didnt kno anything about upgrading and downgrading but i up graded and downgraded and havent a brick yet so who knos maybe i can learn something about X-FLASH and use it:rtfm:

I recommend it to anyone who has the proper firmware to use this.
ok ok lol i just downloaded xflash put it on my psp.....some pretty cool things it can do my favorite is the Firmware Version Spoofs lol i like that alot mine says 9.99 haha but yea...so this APP lets me change my XMB icons safely and change my gameboots and my intro thing when i turn my psp on

quick small question.....i found a font pack and it already has them as ltn0.pgf...how would i get xflash to change it for me do i just to to the folder called _SCE_XFLASH and replace that ltn0.pgf with a font that i want and go in to xflash and select change custom fonts.....OR is there something else i need to do plez..like i said quick lil question :tup:
Xflash folder/Xflash/Modified/ replace the ltn0.pgf file then load up Xflash. Iunno what option cause i just updated to 3.03OE-A' and I get 'DAS BOOT until Art updates.

i got the font changed now all i need to do is figure out how to work the custom game boots and i guess intros when u cut the psp on
all u gotta do is find the font u wanna use...this is if ur using xlfash and go to the folder named _SCE_XFLASH and go to modified and switch the ltn0.pgf with one of urs and to install custom fonts in xflash and hit X and ur new font should be there thats what i did and it worked flawlessZitat:
