wow come on now i had x-flashv18h on my psp with firmware3.03OE-A now that i get arts new x-flash its telling me something about 2.71 and 3.02 and i dont have either but i keep getting the boot and i already reset my settings any help or idea what problem is

its telling me its detected firmware 3.o2 or 2.71 and i clearly have 3.03OE-A

I removed support for 3.03 OE-A in favour of 3.03 OE-A2.
Is there any reason not to update your PSP firmware to OEA-2?

That's two DAX firmwares that X-Flash currently should not work with...
3.03 OE-A (original), and 2.71 SE-A (the first 2.71 SE).

I'd like to know this, too.

Put the Coldboot.vag that you want to use in your Modified folder and then go to the sound option and hit right until the desired operation is there. (I think it's option number 2 in the menu, but I don't remember since I'm at work and PSP-less at the moment.)

Most of this should be in the readme for this I believe.

3.03 OE-B is out now.

sysmemp.prx removed, systemctrl.prx splitted into systemctrl.prx and vshctrl.prx.

I guess this means that X-flash will need another update for sure. :Argh:

X-Flash seems to work fine on 3.03 OE-B.

I flashed my own name_plate.png, however when i view it, it just shows up as a white screen. is there something wrong? I know i have enough flash space as i still have around 320kb left. =/

i still have 144 kb free on f0

I just hex edited mine. Its located in the vshctrl.prx now.

ooh thats cool...but what do you use to convert your files to MP4 480x270 resolution? I have psp video but it only goes up to 320x240 or sooo....>< or am I missing something here? >< (okay nvm I foud out...thought I read all of the read me...but missed some of it ><)

If you use the current version spoofers you'll have to reflash your firmware.

I guess the size of vashmain.prx did not change,
which is how X-Flash distinguishes between DAX fw versions.

Ummm I have a question. I have my gameboot redirected to the memory stick. To apply the "debrand gameboot" option my gameboot has to be in the flash? Or does it modify a different file to remove the Psp Logo?

goto option 5 down and go across till you get to the option called 'APPLY PLAIN BLACK BACKGROUNDS" and then exit

woohoo like i said b4 art your app is pure class......
i changed my system information to NoT sOnY ......pmsl....:)
and as always never a worry about using any updates u do even though that was the main thing i used.......
will u ever be able to do the trademark debranding like b4 with the fw1.50
so we can have that really clean look................:)

just get a version that supports 3.02OE which ever one u got just ask ark which one it is and when u get it u put the topmenu_plugin.rco in the xflash>modified folder and go to option 14 press left on the D-pad once and enter into the information its on then press L+R triggers and press X and boom new icons:tup:

If its not a 3.03 opening_plugin.rco ( which it won't be ) the PS1 emulator will no longer work. :)

What reason is there to flash a new opening_plugin.rco?

Most bootsounds are just in opening plugins not .vags

Doesn't Menu Edit by Loco allow you to extract the VAG?
I'll have a look.
I'm sure it will only work with 1.50 files though.

Hey Art great program by the way. Question about your Plain Black movie; GameBoot Movie. Is it just a plain black movie and the PSP logo is a seperate thing?
I love using this movie a little to long for me tho, thats why I ask because I'm thinking of making my own plain black movie just a little shorter is all.

'side note'
I love this program, my PSP opens up with Ice Cube on Fxxx the police....lol
