well that sux, i love x-flash its so easy and safe. you'l be missed.
Well I'm not saying forever.. but more and more of my time is being consumed by my job.
I started at 5:00 am and finished at 7:00pm today.
When I get home I check the forums, but even if I felt like programming, it wouldn't be worth opening the source file for the time I have left to look at it.

but i would like to thank u for making such a great app which not only allowed me to change the psp to how i would ike it.but also helped me understand how some of my psp internal operations worked without fear of bricking it. that in my opinion raised your app above others....

Fashion dictates that I don't work on X-Flash while writing other programs.
I've done it twice so far to observe that this happens...
and both of those times I had more free time than now!
I think that if I were sure I'd never update X-Flash, then I would release the source,
and just hope that people would give some thought to the license agreement.
For the other program, I want it to be a free program only when PSPs are no
longer on any shop shelves, and I don't look forward to that day.
No way I'll ever "leave" the PSP news and forum scene alltogether.
I think I will be one of the last people here actually.

Hey is it just me or does X-Flash doesnt work on 3.03 OE-C? I tried running it but it just says and I quote, "VERSION 2.71 OR 3.03 FIRMWARE DETECTED BUT THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE AN ORIGNIAL REALEASE OF A SUPPORTED DARK_ALEX HYBRID FIRMWARE IF YOU ARE USING 2.71 SE-A YOU SHOULD UPGRADE. X-FLASH WILL EXIT."
Does anyone know where i can get the plain black background with wavy lines thats used in X-Flash?
I think that is just pure black every where and the PSP adds thae wavy lines so if you want to flash it as a background then make your image to flash plain black.
yeah x-flash dosnt support oe-c yet, but cause of the flash0 access you can do alot of what x-flash can do manually..... and as for the BG thing, i to would liek to know how i could put a 480x272 image behind the xmb's waves (if its possible)Zitat:

I have a dump of my 3.03OE-B that I'll use, so if someone could just list all the file locations and stuff - that'd be amazing.

Just go into "flash0:/vsh/resource", copy 1-12.bmp to your PC, open it up with a image editor. Paint the image all black and transfer it back.
Change your team to the January theme or you will not see your black background.
Was hoping one last X-Flash for 3.03 OOE-C at least..:( but thank you Art, its been great and I wont also forget the tiems u made like 5 updates in one day lol(exageration but it felt something like that at the time)
u could always use pspfiler , recovery menu option, or 303 customizer(if you just can't wait) until ART gets time. I suggest wating for Art. I love xflash and its 99% n00b pr00f.

Can anybody tell me what file is modified after applying a name_plate.PNG to the About PSP Screen?

All right I have 2 PSPs one with 3.03oe-b and the other one with 3.03oe-c, since the latest x-flash only works on 3.03 oe-b that's why I chaged that one's and it worked thought it was not a decripted 2.5's.Zitat:

Nevermind, I got the debranded game boot.
I'm planning on adding a black theme by myself too. I've also seen some really cool gradient themes, does anyone know where I can find any? (That is replacing the default monthly backgrounds...if that makes sense)
If anyone who has upgraded can do a dump with another PSP tool,
it will help get an update out faster when I do get the time.. if someone can
send the two files vshmain.prx, and sysctrl.prx to my email in the X-Flash credits demo.
