The file is opening_plugin.rco, I think...Zitat:

If you delete that you brick however.
You can, and it requires hex editing. There is a guide on Maxconsole, but ithasn't been updated in a while, as the addresses to the hex are wrong.Zitat:

guys if u use the dump flash0 and flash1 function that's in art's xflash then everytime a new firmware comes out u can use those files to get your psp back to the way it was b4 u upgraded to your new custom firmware thats what i do .......:)

The hell...way offtopic buddy, we werent upgrading or anyting lol, but i dont need Xflash for dumping my firmware, i can use like PSPset, Flash Agent, PSPfiler, and others...
thats not one of the reasons i had X-flash, though...I need it for other reasons, and I sure do hope he just makes a 3.03 OE-C one soon...
i was replying to others who needed to debrand their gameboots and who needed to get their mods back ....Zitat:

I got the newest version of Dark_Alex's Custom Firmware (3.03 C) and yet you give me the BOOT?! Please fix it or update it.
Thank you very much :)
Please don't make requests of developers. They work on things in their free time, of their own accord. They owe nothing to nobody.Zitat:

If Art doesn't have time for X-Flash development, you'll have to live without it.
Amen!
I just wish Art would release the source, even I could do the wee little coding to allow a minor FW update.
Not asking! Just wishing... and hinting! ^_^
Sure it'd be great to the source released and be updated, but isnt there also a danger of having a bunch of poorly and expertly mod'd XFlashes alike?Zitat:
Zitat von Ranguvar
besides the short annoyance of having QJ post about each one :p, i see a danger of the XFlash name being ruined along with contridicting versions possibly screwing up PSP's.
If a 3.03oeC update is never released, we still need to thank art for what seems like over speedy 100 updates while he was on the scene.
Just my 2cents.
Mitch
I would like to get rid of the waves in xmb, is there another known way then x-flash to do that?
Yes, I know that some guy named Fluff (or was it Naoneo?) released a guide on how to do it ages ago, literally. Search on the Pspupdates website.Zitat:

EDIT: Ups, sorry for being lazy :(

I did not know that since I'am new at these forums.
Sorry Art :(
You made my day, big big thanks:Jump: Now my psp is back to what it should be:tup:Zitat:

Yep it;s indeed working on 3.03OE-C, just replace the 3.03 system_plugin_bg.rco with a 1.5 plugin and follow the hex instructions. No negative effect due to the 1.5 plugin on 3.03OE.

Great :)Zitat:

What program did you use to flash your files?
Make sure your PSP is plugged into your PC with a USB cable. Restart your PSP and go into Recovery Mode. Go to Advanced Configuration and then enable Flash0 over USB. A new Removable Disk will pop up on your PC and it will be the contents of the Flash0 of your PSP. Be careful not to accidently delete anything!Zitat:
Zitat von killahxxx
I reccomend making a full backup of your Flash0, thats what I did when I first installed 3.03 OE-C.
Then just drag and drop the files you want to flash. Easy!:Punk:
I flashed the system_plugin_bg.rco with the flash access over usb. Just replaced the original(after a back-up) with the modified one.Zitat:

what program are you using(hex editor) to edit the rco...I find the address but can't find 35af or ccbc
is there a way to make x-flash work with 3.03 OE-C?
Yes, Update X_Flash to make it run on 3.03 OE_C
(Hint-Only Art can do it)
or set a wallpaper the same background color like and no waves.
I like to change sound effects again.
Yep hex editor, but are you using a 1.5 plugin sytem_plugin_gb.rco?Zitat:
Zitat von SpoonerPSP
The code's must be there
@Yollary, it is possible with hex edit to change your clicksounds only problem is the shortage of cool very short sounds. These are the offsets (thanx to bstronga):
1 normal clicksounds
1. 0xC4F0-0xC93F ; 0xC940-0xCD8F ; 0xD1E0-0xD62F ; 0xD630-0xDA7F
2 backclicksound
2. 0xCD90-0xD1DF
3 dummy file
3. 0xDA80-0xDAEF
4 ok sound
4. 0xDAF0-0xF8FF
5 error sound
5. 0xF900-0x1482F
Simply open your 3.03 system_plugin.rco and find the above offsets and replace then with your own sound, from a VAG( copy and paste the content of the vah with hex editor to your systemplugin
All right, thanks mate.Zitat:

Well, I solved my debranded gameboot problem, I just used Uflash
is there any other flash programes that will remove the PSP text from a custom game boot like x-flash did?
btw art plz come back.
Were did Art go?
Art is just busy with his real life, And for the debranded gameboot, You have to hex edit a file, Theirs a guide on maxconsole.
Most simple and sane solution til X-flash is updated..Zitat:

or if you did make a dump d-grade back to 303-OEB run xflash dump flash0, flash1, registry etc... replace files with recovery USSB mode or pspFiler...
if you don't feel save having that kind of access and afraid of messing something up wait til X-flash update please
i don't wont to get rid of the whole gameboot just the PSP text that over lays the gamebootZitat:

me 2 :D
Art, can you post the original 6 main XMB icons in .bmp format please.
I really really need them.
Hi,
Once I knew where they were I cut them out of an original file.
I never had acceptable original icons in an image format, just some attempts at it.
If you were using a black background, wouldn't the PSP screen capture PRX get them?
I never tried a screen capture that works in the XMB.
forget about 3.03 OE-C ... 3.10 OE-A is here.. =)
Yup, I just saw it!
2 Question
1.Does X-Flash Support 3.03oe-C?
2.Can X-Flash redirecte the path for the gameboot.pmf?
No and no.
Lets hope debranding still works.
Flash agent can debrand a gameboot
I know this is irrelevant but.... you hit 300 pages!! :D
Really irrelevant considering that differs depending on your forums settings. This thread has 150 pages for me.Zitat:
