Wow...nvm i guess now, thier was a registry error saying my psp firmware doesnt match the one i have or something, then it went on to parental control check saying parental control is enabled and it just kicks me out(thing was, when i checked it was off....)
I just reinstalled it now and for some reason everything works
Im sorry but this is probably the most useless mod but I found it myself when I was board...
Have you ever wanted to go to your favorite web page by a link on your xmb?
This mod allows you to do so by clicking on the online manual link on the xmb and it will take you to your favorite web page
- If you do not know how to use psp filer find out then download it
- dump htmlviewer_plugin from flash0/vsh/nodule in OE or flash0/vsh/module in devhook
- Open it in a hex editor and search for "http://manuals.playstation.net/document/pspindex.htm"
- replace "http://manuals.playstation.net/document/pspindex.htm" with you favorite website
- hex out remaining byte
Note: dont use a website with more then 52 characters
Note: remove the quotes when you search
LOL. Wow. Thats something I would use if I had a working WIFI network...Zitat:

I will post it in the psp hacks section in a sec
I cant get past the error of Parental Settings??? I dont have them on! 3.02 OE-A.
Master Inuyasha
you got an up to date registry because i think if you have an old one it wont work
Reset to default settings in the XMB.Zitat:

You probably still have a 2.71 registry.
Yeah, that worked. Sorry for bothering you guys! :P Cannot wait for OE-B, I wanna compress and transfer my illegally downloaded PS1 games onto my PSP. And my only PS1 game i have left, Duke Nukem: Time to Kill.
I hope i'm not being a noob, seeing as I have been using X-Flash for a while (great program btw), but I'm not sure how to get custom backgrounds for different months. In previous editions I could flash a seperate image to each month, but now I can only flash one image to all 12 months. Am I being completlely stupid and missing something?? I'm on 3.02 OE-A
No you're not being stupid.
Customizing the monthly wallpaper is much more complicated on 3.02 so you can only flash one background for now.
Hey Art, will the next release feature a custom version spoofer? Not just digits but letters as well?
-= Double Post =-
A follow up question.
Is it possible to have the wavy lines enabled even when you use a real custom wallpaper?
if you mean the one you set in theme settings no
yeahZitat:

that would be really cool
and OE-B support
OE-B support won't be hard when it comes out because it's still 3.02.
The Version spoofers, I think will come next, followed by MAC address changer,
but I'm not picking up X-Flash again straight away, I can't spend all of my
holiday programming.
With luck, I should get in a few days in though, almost full time programming :)
There is also possibly a way to use a larger background in the December position.
I'll have to check that out.
Cool thanks for the update.
OE-B did come out already...
I upgraded just now, and vshmain.prx didn't change, so V18b starts on it.
So, is this version compatable with Oe-B art? Sorry if that's what you just answered but I'm confused.
Yup:tup:
Bad ass, downloading now. :D
ok so I have thisZitat:

1)is the file size ok? my OE-B is virgin except modified with the gameboot path modifier. I just want to change the coldboot sound to this.
2) do I copy both files into the Xflash modified folder? THanks in advance.
edit: I just found this
so do I need the rco file?Zitat:
» COLDBOOT SOUND HELP
Steps:
1.Convert 8bit audio to 16 bit audio...with Jet Audio. Output defaults as 44,100 16 bit. This is what you want, do not change this.
http://www.download.com/JetAudio-Bas...tag=pdp_pro d
-basic is free
2.Then convert to .vag format with MF Audio (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/download/MFAudiov11.zip)
Note: Output needs to be changed to VAG.
3. Rename it Coldboot.vag
4.Replace over the one in :/PSP/Game/XFLASH/xflash/modified/
5. Run X-flash.
6. Go to Option 2 - Scroll Left to suboption 8. Hit X.
7. Do a cold re-boot and enjoy!!
I used a short wav from family guy. Worked like a charm.
edit yet again: lol nevermind it is done.... :D
It seems I did get a little time.
There's the first (plain) All Version Spoofer :)
Art.
To Art:One small little bug i wanna make you aware of.. I am running 3.02 OE-A custom firmware, i spoofed my firmware to read 3.04.. later on i i tried to restore it and found that instead of showing 3.02 OE-A again, it instead showed 3.02 OE-B !! Although i wanna make it clear that i'm running OE-A and not B!
Just wanted to mak you aware of the small bug.. maybe u can correct it in the next release...
To Anubis:I saw you asking if u can have a custom background with the wavy lines.. well, i just did that to my psp and its very simple.. i'm running 3.02 OE-A.. the instructions are..
1. Navigate to the X-Flash folder (the one without the % sign) from your PC on your PSP.
2. Open the folder then open modifications.
3. Now you'll find a file called background.bmp in it. Copy it to your PC
4. Open background.bmp in paint and change it to any solid color (black looks awesome) and then save it.
5. Now replace the background.bmp on your PSP with the new one on your PC.
6. Start up X-Flash and choose replace backgrounds or something like that and let it flash the backgrounds.
7. Now go to the theme settings and set the "Use Wallpaper" to "no" and you'll see the black(or wateva color u chose) background along with the wavy lines. :-)
enjoy!
It's not really a bug, that's just what I made it say.
At some stage I will have to have it distinguish between each update to be
restored properly.
You have a rare version ;)
I pulled it off quickly to sneak in a few extra updates for V18c thinking noone had downloaded it!
Art.
So art can we version spoof in xflash now... wait i'll download and see...
which is that version? the firmware version or the X-Flash version?Zitat:
You have a rare version
If you're talking about X-Flash then i did the spoofing using the new one u jus released.. and really nice app, i used it for the first time and its great!
Yes you downloaded it just before I pulled it down and added a little extra
to the V18c release (the special 1337 version spoofer).
Yes the version spoofers should work as they used to for 1.50.
As pointed out, the restore option always restores the version to 3.02 OE-B,
even when OE-C is released, it will still do that for the time being.
X-Flash doesn't currently know the difference between 3.02 OE-A, and OE-B.
Does the version spoofer work for se-c? I am on se-c because it can be modded more, and i don't really use ISO's or Ps1 games :)
No, it might be possible for it to work the same way, but I didn't keep a 2.71 dump to look at.
Well Anubis says the offset is different in the 2.71 se-c file you spoof, than to the oe one, so i'll wait for you to implement it please? 'Cos last time i changed the version with the wrong offset it... bricked :(
i love your program
sry if this suggestion was already posted but i was wondering you could add a feature that lets you disable certain features like rss for example you have already implemented the disable update setting and that saves room in the flash0 wich will help me being a 3.02 OE user. i know dark alex disabled the location free player on 3.02 OE to save space and i saw people talking about disbaling rss around the forums. it would be much apreciated if you added this just so we had the option. i know i can do this manualy but honestly i dont trust myself (im on my 5th psp from bricks and my warranty is over)
