Regardless of what some people say here. PiMPStreamer is NOT an april fools joke! ..... I just happened around the same time...

Anyway...

This version is a quick fix for the first feedback i received. I'm currently working on the next version which will have "directory browsing" support.

Nope it is just for 1.50.. It is a wifi app.

But.. If PMP Mod worked on your 2.6 in network mode it could should also work for PiMPStreamer.

Also.. I can't test it on 2.6 (i don't have 2 psps ;-))

I can get a listing from the server but when i pick a video the screen goes all black. The server program pops up a message box saying "could not open []C". I have to restart my psp because it locks up.

What Windows version , codec (divx,xvid, etc), container format (avi/mpg..) are you using?

i had the same problem as matriculated. and now i cant even get past connection state 4. this prog would rock if there would be less errors. good work ****y

XP SP1, xvid, divx, mpg, static address on my psp

yeh i had the same prob as mentioned before ....im using xp, i used a .pmp , im going to try your demo....

EDIT: SAME RESULT, COULD NOT NOT OPEN(some shapes)

my psp doesn't list the stream in PIMP great initiative though dude, video streaming was something i'd been waiting for , for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages good luck for your future work !!

I have the same error. Mayby this app only works on Windows 2000 ?
I have Windows XP with SP2 and for test i used warcraft3 trailer.

Yes, this works fine on XP.

Great work ****y****1969! The server no longer crashes on my machine, but I am still getting decoding errors in most files. Again, this has a very promising future. Thanks for the hard work.

To get this program to work you need a k drive. I made mine using the subst command like this "subst k: c:\movies".

hey can does anyone have any suggestions on how to obtain my WEP key so i can get my psp on our network... my roommate set up the access point a while ago and he cant remember the damn key!?!

it will say the key on your router. it will probably be shown in HEX, but just stick that into your PSP.
